I'll just leave these here...
Short Short Stories:

A gay couple goes shopping at the mall. The main character was inspired by The Stranger. This was going to be the basis of a novel, but I can't connect with the main character, and that makes things difficult. So what you see is all there'll be, unless I decide to go back to it someday. But that's not likely. Also this was to exploit my chullo fetish. Goddammit chullos are adorable.

Basically what the title says. It's about two boys walking on a beach by a lake. My Creative Writing teacher was ASTOUNDED by this one. Even though I'm not a fan of him or his class, I'll still happily accept his compliments.

I sent this to a girl almost two years ago. Ladies, get out your :3 faces. Guys, I have no qualms about you using this to delude a girl into thinking you're the cutesy sensitive romantic type. It worked, by the way, as a love letter.
Long Short Stories

This was what drove me to make that sex topic. It was thoroughly painful to write. All the same, I think I did a pretty good job. I think I wrote it all in a week too. About 8500+ words, 31 pages double-spaced in a word document. It's about differing opinions on sex and love, told through the point of view of an aggressive 17-year-old boy whose best friend is moving away. Story within a story. Some of it is kinda risque. High school stuff. I actually enjoyed writing it, so that's a very very good thing. Not fully satisfied with it, but am I ever? Probably my favorite, because it was the first time I was ever really honest. Like really honest.
"I think romance basically starts with respect. And new romance always starts with respect. I think I have some romantic friendships. Like the song “Love the One You're Withâ€; there is something to that. It's not just make love to whomever you're with, it's just love whomever you're with. And love can be seeing that here we are and there's this world here. If I go to my room and I watch TV, I didn't really live. If I stay in my hotel room and watch TV, I didn't live today."

Girl takes a pleasant trip to an antique shop. It's a horror story, and not my best. I just wrote it as a gift to a friend. She liked it.

I don't even know what the hell is going on. It must have had something to do with the fact that I'd just read Uzumaki. Anyway, it starts out as a horror story and turns into I-have-no-idea-what. Since I really didn't like it so much, I didn't proofread it much, so watch out for typos. If the plot doesn't make sense to you, that's okay. It's got some surreal imagery. Nightmares, British girls, lumps of jelly and decomposing flesh... Must've completed this one around May. When I was still convinced I was destined for the horror genre.

According to my brother this is the best thing I've ever written, which is terribly depressing as I wrote it back in April. A kid looks back on a weekend he spent jumping around his father's trio of bars. Lots of things dealing with rejections, unintentionally put in there as I had just gotten rejected by the boy I had been crushing on for like two years. A few of the characters that people the story are loosely inspired by people I know.

Yeah. Anyone that's facebook friends with me can check these out in my notes. I'm not posting the titles here because I'm quasi-paranoid of possible agents/publishers googling the titles of my work and finding it on an RPG Making forum and going LOLWTFNOOB.
I've also written 3 books, although only one of them is any good. They're all about coming of age, growing up in the Midwest, and all have mostly subtle themes of homosexuality. (Except for the 15 page awkward sex scene in the third one.) If anyone would like to read one drop me a PM. Criticisms, pointing out of blatant speeling/grumatical errors and such are appreciated and such. Be tough. I can take it. Also don't steal these because I will hunt you down and punch you into oblivion and such. I'm posting them because I've come to the recent conclusion that I <3 RMN.

These all sound really cool. I just read the second one of your short short stories and it's absolutely lovely. <3
Thanks! Compliments are very very encouraging. It was inspired by this still from Wild Tigers I Have Known:

I'm trying to work on a new novel, but I think I need to contemplate what message I want to send before I write more. I'm 13 pages in, and the words aren't coming to me as easily as they should.
Also, if he doesn't mind, I like this bit of praise I recieved from Koff in regards to Warm Chocolate Ice Cream: "It made me feel emotions I'm... not used to feeling. I don't even know how to explain it." (Was that emotion a bad thing or a good thing?) "I think it was good. It's hard to tell. The emotions themselves might not have been, but I'm glad I felt them nonetheless."
EDITS: That's 61 views. I see you fuckers, post!

I am Bachinski, so I'm kind of like... Composer-ski (actually I think it has something to do with Chinese + the prefix Ba-). I DO CHINESE too bad I don't like Chinese men
I've started like four different stories and can't stick to anything. Always find the plot not going anywhere a few pages in. :| Writer's block sucks.
stealth bump
EDIT: I'm just going to assume the lack of feedback is because I'm that mindbogglingly amazing of a writer. Also I'm working on a story I like. Writer's block over for now.

I am bumping an old topic because I just wrote this:
http://docs.google.com/View?id=dwrgr8d_27sgwzcvfz
“Maybe you're not productive. I mean, not productive to your fullest potential. Part of your brain is too preoccupied thinking about something you can't have, when it should be focusing on what you do have.â€
“Think that's the secret to happiness?â€
“No, that's a little too much. I think it's the secret to not depressing yourself.â€
It's called Thai Iced Coffee and it's about looking at boys in the locker room. And some more serious issues, but that's the gist. It's been described as both tragic and adorable. 36 pages in a double-spaced Word document 12-point Times New Roman font. That's about 47 pages if it was in a decent sized paperback. Don't steal I want royalties. I don't think you'd want to claim you wrote a story about creeping on little boys anyway.
I freaked out a friend who didn't know I was gay with this one. :D
EDIT: Oh! And it's worth noting that people are now Facebook friending me just so they can read my stories. Of course since I don't know them I ignore their requests, but it's still a huge ego booster!

You're evil. I choose to ignore all the serious issues and whine about how Rob couldn't act like a normal person around Chase. Seriously. He should grow a pair. Or google 'slash fiction' or something.
Anyway, online fiction is usually formatted like this: http://docs.google.com/View?id=dcqpssjw_1jqqx85cd
Sorry if you hate people touching your stories. And I didn't steal it, I promise.
It makes long stuff much less intimidating and much easier to read. And it doesn't make it look any less like a book or ruin the flow or anything. I suggest you try this out if you haven't. See if you like it, see if other people like it, etc.
and btw, it's not tragic, it's angsty.

Well, the one time they did interact he acted normally. Real life doesn't work like boy love manga. :<

Spacing out every paragraph would take forever, though. >_>

Someone else described it as tragic. Sure, no one's dying, but I think it's a little more than angsty!

I don't really want to talk about the philosophy behind 'normal'. I just meant that he's being insecure, irrational and a coward. But he's in love, so oh well.

I did it, it took me 5 minutes in notepad. You can format it in Word for 30 seconds if you click select all then go to format/paragraph/spacing and write something like 12 pt in the 'after' field.
And I know it wasn't you who described it as tragic, just thought I'd share my opinion. I dunno, overall I'm very angry at, instead of sad for Rob. Mostly because he's all 'That's how it is' about all of his issues when in fact that's not how it is. He's convinced that everything he's concluded about himself and the world is correct and there's no changing it. 16/17/however old he was is too freaking young for a person to stop their self-improvement/development. It's pretty strange that this is the thing that bothered me the most instead of, I dunno, his gayness or his unrequited love or whatever.
I don't think I ever said he was going to stop improving himself. Most of the reason he decided to never let the kid know him was because he was addicted to thinking about him. Needed to focus on other things, get his shit together before he involved himself with him.
Also I'll reformat it the next time I revise it. Which should be in like a month.
