DID ANYONE PICK UP "NEW SUPER MARIO BROS. WII?"

There is a difference between playing to win and playing to have fun and Super Mario Bros. Wii emphasizes on these two cases with its multiplayer. While it is much easier to play to win in single player, it is still doable in multiplayer but much more chaotic due to the lack of coordination spread amongst players. However, if you play to have fun, single player can be kind of lack luster since everything becomes more predictable. Through multiplayer, the emphasis on play to have fun becomes a nice war or team combination amongst the players. Here is example.

This game is completely uninteresting on single player.

Now, I wouldn't go as far as to say that; I played multi-player throughout most of the game (technically all of it on one of my files). I played 3 worlds with my roommate and THAT was hella-fun...

We couldn't stop laughing the whole time. XD Not to mention I accidentally killed him, like, 20 times. It was also hilarious how he used 5 continues in those first three worlds. XD

Best with four people and finding a hundred ways to kill each other (intentionally or accidentally is besides the point)

Definitely this.

I've been renting it from work and it's pretty awesome. Its for sure worth picking up if you play with friends.
Plus whether it's easy or hard, the game is a lot more fun with friends.

BTW at Gamestop if you bring in two approved games you can drop the price from 49.99 to 9.99. Just some food for thought.

I would never... EVER... give that corporate monster any of my wonderful games...

In fact, I always peel off that sticker they put on that back of the games because I don't want to be reminded that they had been in the grasp of the unholy one. (By the way, does each individual game have it's own barcode, or do all copies of that game get the same barcode?)

That being said - I love all the little kids who empty out their game closets just to get a measly 20 bucks off the newest game that will by 80% cheaper in less than 6 months. Seriously, some of the trade in values are frankly criminal.

The only time I would ever trade a game in, to game stop or anywhere, is for Battletoads.

OH GOD, DEFINITELY THIS.

Edit: My own brother (who works at gamestop) told me to trade in my games at a Play-n-Trade...saying they will give you more of a trade value for a game, which is the truth.

It came out today and I bought it.

I like it, but so far it's not difficult like I heard it was, and despite what I thought, it isn't amazing as people said. Just like the DS game, it seems like a great updated version of the original Super Mario Bros or Super Mario Bros 3 even, but ignores all the goodness that came out of Super Mario World.

I do enjoy it, just not as I thought i would. I can't believe Famitsu gave it a 40.
