CHRONO TRIGGER RESOURCES OR - WTF?

I'm looking for chipsets from Chrono Trigger. A simple task one would think; but for some reason - they have become annoyingly difficult to find.
Does anyone have a bunch of Chrono Trigger chipsets laying around? Anything would be great, but I'm looking for one in particular - Guardia Castle.

Ripping stuff from that would be a giant pain in the ass.

How about this, does anyone have an unedited version of this tileset? I botched this thing a long time ago and I can't find the original version of the chipset anywhere.

not really. i use fresh rips for just about everything i do, and i 1) wouldn't have it any other way (far more flexible) and 2) it really doesn't take that long, considering the amount of use i get out of a single chipset.

Wouldn't it be easier to just use ZSNES or something so you can disable layers?
Either way, its irritating knowing what you need exists, but being unable to find it.

like i said. fresh rips. i rip most of the stuff i use myself.

So do I. It's tough to find decent quality rips of anything. I will occasionally use finished maps (like the ones at spriter's resource) but only when I can't get to that area myself via emulator.
Your best bet is to take your own chipset and use it as a base for rips. That'll let you keep it nicely lined up (since you're just copying over top), but you can fix any colours or undo any edits.
edit: I mean, I understand you want to bypass the ripping stage for time reasons, but sometimes it's the best and (more importantly) only way.
I've never actually ripped anything, but I guess I'll have no choice but to download a Chrono trigger rom and go at it.

i usually set the grid in photoshop to 16x16. lines up with chipsets/templates perfectly. awesome for if i'm cutting something out of an existing chip.
photoshop is for kids, real men use MS Paint exclusively
edit: well not exclusively I do use PS to save into 256 colours (ahhh, indexed colour) and the occasional bit of transparency, but otherwise real men use MS Paint exclusively

i would probably have killed myself by now had i been editing all those chipsets in mspain this whole time.
seriously, if we're going to talk pixel programs, graphicsgale is far superior.

it's precisely 50% of what i do with rpg graphics and it really isn't
Personally, I use a bastard-child combination of iDraw, Paint Shop Pro, and MS Photo Editor, but I'm just odd like that. ;_;

this was basically how I got into it. i could not for love nor money find some particular FF5 animations so i just grabbed animget and loaded up ZSNES. i've never looked back.

So I looked in my game's chipset folder to find exactly what I was looking for... So... okay.
And so a golden opportunity is missed to add another talented ripper to the pool.
edit: also: haha great jorb

I'll have to rip something eventually, though I wouldn't say I will be "talented" at it.
