SOLITAYRE'S "REVIEW SOMETHING" CHALLENGE!
Posts
This weekend, I want you to review something. That's right you. It doesn't matter what it is, just review it! The community appreciates your participation and feedback far more than most people realize. If you ever enjoyed a game at least a little, isn't it only fair that you give something back to them? If you ever promised to review something and then didn't follow through, now is your chance.
The Rules:
-It doesn't matter if its a new game or a game you've played before.
-If you're going to review a game you've never played before, try to review a game that does not have any reviews.
-You must play enough of the game to have an informed opinion of it.
-Your review must meet the minimum site criteria of 300 words.
-Your review must say something of substance. A short summary of the game and "it was good" is not a review. A bulleted list of features is not a review. A column of plues and minuses is not a review. Tell the dveloper what you liked and didn't like. Tell them what could be fixed. Tell other players what to expect.
I will be doing reviews this weekend as well. If at the end of this weekend I have done more reviews than all of you put together, I reserve the right to laugh at and mock you all.
You have 48 hours.

I agree with the spirit of this whole thing, but do you do realize that this is a holiday weekend, correct?
Only in the US, but even then, everyone is home from school, in the next few weeks everyone will be busy with finals and the holidays, I can think of no better time for such an event.

RM* games I've downloaded but not played yet or have played little of:
Doble Filo
Speak no Evil
Legends of Illarion
DF: Venaitura
Lucid Awakening (actually like four hours in)
The Reconstruction (like two-three hours)
TotD? Don't know, but it's there!
Demon's Gate (played for quite a bit, but going to restart for 1.6)
Vacant Sky Volume 1: Contention
Zephyrus and the Kingdom of Heaven (one of my favorite RM* games; actually got very far in but lost my hard drive)
...guess I have some work to do!

Sadly, research projects don't take weekend breaks. I already wasted the rest of turkey break doing RM* stuff, and I daresay I can't afford to continue doing so. And I am very lazy.
Best of luck, forum goers!

More importantly, grad school apps are due on Monday. But I will review a game in the next week or so.
The Release Something Challenge is half over.

I have taken on your challenge and reviewed Demon Legacy, which is, after all, the only RMN game I have played to completion so far. It's pending approval right now.
I reviewed the new Neo Lescia demo, I might be able to get a review of Dhux's Scar soon. Sorry Erilex, but you game came out just a little before a giant wave of good games came out; so I kind of got caught up in that.
