THE BEST OF YOUR HIGHSCHOOL YEARS.
Posts
Neophyte was right, we do need one of these.
What's the best thing that happened to you in highschool?
I recall a pretty incredible party I went to. There was a great deal of absinthe ingested that night. We all wound up playing truth or dare, except instead of the usual dares you'd expect, they were awesome in just about every way. I remember being dared to run up and down the hall with my pants on my head singing the national anthem. They made me start over every time I messed the words up. We also all listened to Africa by Toto. Best party ever.

I played Goldeneye this one time with my buddies. The Stack. Man that was a good time. I think we even made nachos that night. Extra sour cream mother fuckers.
I think the general best of my highschool years was just the general relative lack of responsibility for absolutely anything compared to how it is now, as an adult. Sure, I can do more stuff as an adult and I'd say it's better overall (because that would be a damn shame to say my best years are behind me at a mere 22 years of age), but highschool was generally a worry free series of intoxicating fun as hell events.
Getting 2 hours of sleep every night because I knew I could sleep through classes and still get A's? You got it! Dicking around with friends for hours and hours and hours because we had no other real responsibilities? You got it! Doing a rash string of quasi legal events with the knowledge that I wouldn't be tried as an adult if I was caught? You got it! Having sex with my girlfriend in the back of a car to the point of exhaustion on a school night with the thrill of her dad not finding out because she wasn't supposed to be dating me in the first place? You got it! Spending all of my money on video games and other non necessities because I didn't have any bills? You got it!
Basically high school was fucking nuts because I was young as shit and life was like a dream.

That sounds like a pretty standard dare to me.

Graduating and going to college. 8]
Yeah this is probably going to be my happiest moment next year too.
I don't have any good memories of high school. I'm so glad I got out of that shit hole.
We used to play GBA in this one spot in the hall, usually Super Mario ... like that classic mode in the sewers deathmatch style. Then go to subway for lunch. And tormenting these pc geeks who locked themselves in the tech lab.
Best ever was when we started the Dudesoft Olympics (before Dudesoft was my handle) which was, as you can guess, Olympic-style videogaming. We'd come up with lists of games and events in those games to play, like GTA3 - Survivor, where we use codes to make citizens crazy and have 5 wanted stars. Or Power Stone tournaments. Or just whatever. It was awesome.

I thought pc geeks were above the gba geeks in the social ladder.
Hmm...
Gr.10 - Half a year of Yu-Gi-Oh Cards, then skippin' class half the time.
Gr.11 - Playing GBA (Advance Wars 2) during lunch, then goin' to my buds place to finish the battle there.
Gr.12 - Drama, drama, drama... and Smash Bros, Advance Wars 2, and more skipping. Graduation was amusing to say the least... heh heh heh... >;3

nerds chortling over soviet power while playing quake 1 in a room all day, or people who socialize, do stuff, and play gba/gbc... For the win! We ended up getting like 7 people at one point, making some goths to bring in a small tv and NES to try to one-up us.
