THE MOST MUST-HAVE RPG FOR THE PSP
Posts
If you want FF Tactics for the PSP, then download the PSX version from the PSN, 'coz it's cheaper and it doesn't run choppy when someone casts a spell. The only things new to the PSP port are some cutscenes and a new translation.

PSP port has better AI, fixed up classes (Heaven and Hell Knights), extra classes, extra character slots, completely new cutscenes, co-op play. The co-op play alone makes up for the choppy graphics which only occur during heavy spell animations. The English version also has good voice acting.

K you've got me.
Get the PSP version.
I prefer the PSX version out of nostalgia. I don't want Marshe or Balthier in my game, and I didn't appreciate the extra little side quest. It has NO RIGHT to be in my favourite game.
The PSP version also has proper widescreen support. The lag is not really any different from how the original version ran on the original PSX.
My favorite PSP RPGs are Jeanne d'Arc and Crimson Gem Saga. I also like Final Fantasy VIII, available on the PSN store. Final Fantasy VII is pretty good too I guess. Old Final Fantasy games play really well on the PSP.

Crimson Gem Saga. That's Astonishia Story 2, isn't it? I thought that looked pretty bad from first impressions. Was it actually alright, then?
No, but it's not like the assumption is that he's only buying RPGs. The topic is just asking for what one he should buy when he decides to buy one.

Megaman Powered Up
Megaman Maverick Hunter X
Castlevania Dracula X Rondo of Blood PSP thingy.

Press X to win. And that slots deal is the dumbest thing I've ever laid eyes on barring AFD. "Oh hey, you level at random, okay?"

ahahaha are you serious
like feld said, there is a hidden exp counter. dont you wonder why you are at a high level at the end of the game, hmm? Wait, no, its just coincidence that happens.
also lol at x to win. maybe on some parts, but some requires more strategy than that.
Actually, the slots have a level-up bonus on them. Which is rather lame considering how often I got it.
And uh,
is pretty retarded. What next, hidden HP?
