well holy shit.
Looks like you "schooled" the competition. Get it? GET IT!? "SCHOOOOOLED"!!!!???
In case you're wondering, yes, I'm a tad pissed that AAGENESISFTFW lost to such an old-flavored game.
Actually, no. Hero's Realm owns. I'm glad.
Wait, no... I'm mad.
NO, FUCK THAT AA GENESIS FTFW. AA GENESIS. AA GENESIS.
*explodehead*
Wow. I have got to say this has been the most unexciting Misao event we have ever had. It pretty much passed me by and I didn't feel any of the energy or excitement that surrounded previous Misaos. Sorry to be so blunt, but since the new system came in I have rarely gotten excited over a game or even noticed progress on upcoming games.
I didn't really get that feeling at all Sam, but I can somewhat understand why you might feel that way. The implemented system doesn't really work if voting is done in the last month. Also no one really spread the coming of the misaos to other communities this year, so less votes were made.
I preferred the hoopla that the old system generated, too. It felt more like an event then rather than just 'hohum oh I guess I'll vote'. But I have no control over how these things go.
That being said, we got almost as many votes as past years. Sure it says 750 votes but we have HALF the number of categories this year. We had a lot of 1 vote entries (which is unfortunate). The nomination phase of the previous setup eliminated a lot of those 1 vote things because you needed 2 nominations to make it to the voting round.

Hmm yeah it'd be cool if the all year voting determined what's actually nominated and then the actual voting takes place in december, but then you'd have people who nominated but don't vote because they were absent in December and thus the system could fall apart. Oh well, I guess its all trial and error.
