EASIEST GAME YOU'VE EVER PLAYED?
Posts
Mine's Final Fantasy 6, so far. I'm nowhere near to finishing the game, but I just went up against the Phantom Train and killed it in three or four turns, which is pretty strange considering it's an enormous cursed train that carries spirits to the afterlife. You'd think it would put up more of a fight.
Actually you can take it out in a single phoenix down. ;) But yeah FF6 is just laughably easy since most characters have the cheapest moves in the game that don't require any MP. Only hard parts are where you need to go mostly. But still its actually a fun game with a neat cast of characters. :)
Probably Lego Star Wars 2, or the sims 2 for DS.
Lego Star Wars 2 had no difficulty whatsoever, this is not, however, to say I didn't enjoy the little lego scenes and wholesome goodness that it had to offer.
Sims 2 DS was a waste of money, I'm not going to talk about it...

Final Fantasy 10 would be the easiest game i've played. None of the bosses were hard and the final boss was the weakest thing i've seen.

FF6 isn't exactly hard, but, easiest game ever? Nahhhh.
Easiest game ever? Probably Star Wars Lego.
While its not the easiest, one that springs to mind is Secret of Mana. You could magic spam any boss for an easy 999 damage which they couldn't do anything about, and if that didn't kill them, the next couple 999-damage spams certainly would.
Playing the game without magic spamming on the other hand...
Next up would probably be... Sim Ant. I think I won that game without doing a thing after taking over the first square from the red ants, the computer did all the work for me.

You could argue all RPGs take no skill if you boringly level up for hours on end, as leveling up takes time, and not skill. I found Final Fantasy VI and X hard, and I don't think I'm especially bad at RPGs. It wasn't Dragon Quest II hard, but hard nonetheless.
Some Barney game for the Genesis. If you tried to jump off a cliff, Barney would say, "Stop! Wait until its safe!" In a horrible vaguely pedo voice. And no, you couldn't die.
I didn't actually buy it of course. I played it on Sega Channel and me and my friends cracked up over it. =)
As for whether RPGs take skill - it's debatable. I typically find EXP to be relatively detrimental for things like challenge unless it functions differently - like slowing down against weak enemies, or using a different and limited method of experience like finding such and such magical items or whathaveyou.

The game isn't really *that* easy until the endgame, where it certainly does get pretty silly. I killed the final boss with a single regular attack.
Passage.
Is that cheating? It also happens to be one of the most emotionally straining games I've ever seen. o.o

Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire for Wii. Eh, I rented it for 5 days at a blockbuster yesterday and beat it in 6 hours.
Overall, it's a pathetic excuse of an action game with a cool flame sword.

I think I beat Mega Man X5 or 6 in an hour and 30 minutes or so on my first try. I was pretty disappointed in it.
Don't forget Pinobee, for Gameboy Advance.
I finished that game the morning after I bought it, and exchanged it for Dragon Warrior Monsters 2. Which was a whole lot better.

Mortal Combat for wii. Rented it from the store and bet it in 50 minutes. This includes unlocking everything in the game, not just beating it.
Suikoden V was pretty easy to finish. Just took a long time to get to the end. Enjoyable, though. All the Suikodens are actually pretty easy to beat, probably because the level-up system is so great. Love that system to death.
Yeah, Mystic Quest was pretty easy. Still fun, though.
FFX. I dunno, I quit somewhere around getting to Zanarkand, then my memory card crapped out on me and I haven't bothered since. To be fair, that was about my fifth playthrough. That game just doesn't like me for some reason.
