Topic title is self explanatory. Name games you haven't played but are immensely popular. I'll start:

-Ocarina of Time
-Halo
-Any Metal Gear
-Twilight Princess
-Any Metroid Games
-World of Warcraft
-Call of Duty Series
-The Paper Mario series
-Any Zelda game except Ocarina of Time
-Any Metal Gear
-Any Metroid game
-World of Warcraft
-Splinter Cell games
-Project Gotham or any "realistic" racing game (blech!)
-Mother/Earthbound games
-Any 3D GTA game
-Any Pokemon games
-Any Resident Evil game
-Any Mario Party game
-Any FF game after VII
-Any DQ after IV
-Generally, any game made after 1997

..there are probably others.

EDIT:

oh, and
-Any Age of Empires game
-Any of The Sims games
-Any WWII based shooter with multiple players and some people jump in tanks and planes and shit and you capture flags (or something) and have acronyms like BF1942.

-Any Metroid game
-Any DQ except 1
-Any of The Sims games
-Any GTA game
-Any FF game after IX
-Mario Party 8
-Any Resident Evil Game
-World of Warcraft
-Guild Wars
-Any Splinter Cell game
-Any Metal Gear game
-Mother/Earthbound games
-Rainbow 6 (and other games like these)
-Call of Duty (and other games like these)

...and that's all off the top of my head.
Also, I haven't played any Guitar Hero game.
I played one song on Guitar Hero III. It's alright... but I don't see myself buying it anytime soon.
95% of all popular FPS or music games released... let's say since 2000.
Also, any MMORPG that isn't City of Heroes/Villians

Others would be...
-Resident Evil (I don't know how this series became popular, I watched someone play it and I found it more stupid/funny than scary by any stretch of the imagination)
-Silent Hill, this series caught my eye somewhat but I never really bothered looking into it

I'm sure there's more, but if I haven't played it, then I probably won't remember it
I would say Guitar Hero. I just haven't been bothered at all to play this even though most of my friends do.
Any Metal Gear
Almost Every MMORPG (the only two I have played are Runescape, and I still play maplestory)
Suikoden
ROCK BAND
Guitar Hero 3

There are probably more, but whatever

Also, Kentona, you NEED to try splinter cell chaos theory or Splinter cell Double agent, they are amazing games, and I reccomend them both (probably more Chaos Theory over Double Agent, because Chaos Theory sticks more to the trtaditional Splinter cell idea.) I would also recommend Paper Mario, not the one for Wii though. I prefer the 64 version over the Gamecube version as well.
I bought Paper Mario for the Wii VC just yesterday. Never tried to play a Splinter Cell game.
Only MMORPG I ever really tried, come to think of it, was D&D Online: Stormreach.
Where do I start?

N64
The two Zelda games (OoT and Majora's Mask)
GoldenEye 007
Many more

Playstation
FF VII, IX
Chrono Cross
Suikoden

Dreamcast

Powerstone
Shenmue (I think there's I and II)

Playstation 2

All the FF games
Dark Cloud 1 and 2

OMG so many more...
World of fucking warcraft.

I've seen what that does to people, hence I will never play it.
Just like my friend. He'll be dead by the time he reaches 30 from playing world of warcraft.
I doubt a friend of mine will make it to 25 because of it. It looks alright, until you see the extreme playerws.
The people that play it all day and all night and think they are supreme. ;)
If they gave you EXP for assignment in schools then these people would excel at life.
Halo and pretty much all of the Mario games

I've seen my cousin play Halo, but I've never played myself, mostly because I don't own an X-Box.
I haven't played any MMO. Not that I dislike MMOs I just know that I would easily be hooked on any MMO and wouldn't be able to let go.

Other than that Any Xbox/Xbox 360 or PS3 exclusive. I haven't played most PS2 games either. I've never played on a Sega console either so no Sonic games (not even those not on Sega consoles)

Recently I've caught up with some of the games I've missed. Most notably Half-Life 2 (with the Orange Box) and GTA3 (and its sequel San Andreas).

I've stayed away from most RPGs too. Both Japanese and Western. I haven't played games like KoToR, Oblivion (or any of the predecessors) or Random-Japanese-RPG-everyone-raves-about (they all sound the same to me).

However whenever I've missed a certain game I've mostly felt that I've played a game similar enough to be able to dismiss it (most FPS share certain things for example).
Well i'm busy all the time so i wouldn't have any time to play MMO's. They are just too much addictive.
I only play RPGs and only have a PS2/X and Snes, so no shoot'em ups, racing, sports, horror ect. No Kingdom Hearts, either. I tried it once and I got sick from the colours and rotating camera angles. Oouuh.

Yeah. Just good (and a few not good - Unlimited Saga, anyone?) RPGs.
