TRIAL SERIAL NUMBER THROUGH A PROXY, RPGXP

CloseFirstly, hello, I'm new here and I used to have RPGxp a few years ago, though I never did anything worthwhile I suddenly had a brainwave for a game I want to make so I re-downloaded the program.
However I get the 'cannot download trial serial number' error, I know all I need to do is connect to the internet and i closed my antivirus and made the program an exception on windows firewall however since i am at uni i connect through a proxy and i think this is what is causing the problems. Does anyone please know how to get rpgxp to work through a proxy?

See if you can't get it activated once (how is up to you, if its a notebook maybe an Internet cafe?), after that you should be set to go. I got RMXP a while back and I've used it even when my Internet/Wireless Network was down without a problem, so if you can get by the initial speedbump hopefully it should work fine.
