DATE AVAILABLE FORMAT AND PAGES

How are you supposed to format date available? I tried YYYY-MM-DD and I'm not sure if it worked or not, the date available input field is blank but nothing ever said I was doing it wrong.
Also I can't add pages. Does a game have to be approved first or does it need the three images?

I know that, I'm just not sure what state a gamepage needs to be in in order to add pages to it. It isn't part of newborn pages and I'm not sure if the 'visible to be approved' state (or however that's handled) changes if pages are available or if approval is required first or what.
Oh well I guess that means I'll just have to get it approved first!
(then I can see how date available works)
*edit*
Backwards (DD-MM-YYYY) game me an error so I'm going to assume YYYY-MM-DD works and the system just doesn't feel like saying what the current available date is

judging by the date format showed in each post, and everywhere else on this forum, one could make the guess that it's rather using the silly american style MM-DD-YYYY
post=125313I always get tripped up by the american style. Americans are so non-conformist!

Let's test!
02-26-10 - Fails
02-26-2010 - Fails
Let's try different formatting:
02/26/2010 - Succeeds!
Great! But is it just checking for format or is it making sure the format AND the date are valid?
26/02/2010 - Fails
26-02-2010 - Fails
So DD/MM/YYYY fails, but MM/DD/YYYY passes. (but MM-DD-YYYY fails)
NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT
2010-02-26 - Succeeds!
2010/02/26 - Fails
2010-26-02 - Fails
2010-26-02 - Fails
I think I am going to ignore Date Available

So basically this request is just for a little bit more information explaining when things become available, and how things are done.
I don't see this a particularly inane request, that is if this isn't stated already. Some of this knowledge isn't common knowledge especially to newcomers.

Consistency would be nice too. See where '-' and '/' with the same dates cause the check to fail with one but pass with the other.
Basically finish 'Date Available' because as it is, it feels like something that was started, passed a test, and was thrown into the 'finished' pile
