INKING CLASS - PROGRESS
Posts
Too bad I'm poor as hell...
Art supplies are pretty expensive. I bought a sketchbook, charcoal, charcoal holder, a long time ago. Total= about $30.

I think the most expensive thing for inking would be the ink.
I use Speedball - Super Black India Ink. Got it for $5.50
and the paintbrush is, well I bought a lot of different sizes, but they can be $3-$9. To start, def. find the cheapest kind if possible. It's not too expensive really. If you're worried about wasting sketchbook paper, practice on cheap computer paper; get a handle of how the brush works before putting it to expensive paper.
You might want to invest into a bottle of whiteout from the dollar store or something, for those unfortunate mistakes that will eventually happen.

If you want a chance to see some videos from class, hurry up! These will only be on youtube for a week or so, as they're only meant for this one guy who couldn't make it.
Insider scoop, you didn't hear it from me! :D

Really not much to add this week. We did a workshop this class, so it was less lesson, more... do your thing. Which really nails down the fact that everyone does it different. There are tricks, tools, and practices to this trade... however at the end of the day, how you do it is, is fine. If you're good enough, someone will pay you for it.
I'll upload the workshop when I finish it later tonight (it's only a Bruce Tim style page, so pretty quick!) to show you what I mean.
Also, maybe we can do a workshop together! What do you dudes and dudettes think of that?
