LAGS IN RM2K3

Ok people, help me make a list of things that can cause lag on RM2K3. I'm traumatized by it because lots of people couldn't play Marvel Brothel because of the lag, even though it runs fine in my computer and some others. I don't know how to fix it, because I don't know what causes the lag. Now in my other project I added an overlay picture that keeps rotating, and it lags. I wanted 3 picutres, but it lags as hell. I kept two... it lags a bit, but maybe it'll lag a lot in another PC.
Ok, so let's make this list, starting by this:

Multiple parallel processes running at the same time.
Any parallel processes? No matter what they do?
In MB I had dozens of parallel process running at the sime time. It was just "set variable xxx to this event's map coordinate". But dozens of it. Could it lag? It didn't lag here, but... who knows.

Ways to reduce RM2k3 parallel process lag:
1.) Only use "Show Picture" once for each picture and "Move Picture" afterwards.
2.) If you can afford it, put a Wait 0.1 at the end of the parallel event, the small wait helps a lot.
3.) See if you can condense several different parallel events into one or two.
Tried everything?

I'm gonna try, but I need to find a computer that makes my game lag first, or I can't even test it. :P
Most people don't realize the fundamentals of playing an RM2k/3 game- go into the task manager and set the process' priority to Very High.
Also,. if anyone's running your game from an external HD that would cause it too.

I'm pretty sure it's because he never added wait 0.0 at the end of all parallel processes (even though its a trick so old that it's almost ancient). In this sense, the term "lag" is a misnomer, because the game isn't lagging, on the contrary, the engine is executing the code so fast, that its over speeding, not lagging behind. Adding a wait 0.0 helps limit the speed at which code is executed. This is akin to the FPS counter in a PC game. Too little FPS and you lag, too much and you fly through too fast.
