I've only gotten to play a few current RM games so far (don't forget, I haven't played community games since RM 95!) but my favorite is Reuben from The Cartographer. Not that I've quite beaten it yet, but I really like how he just wants to be an inn keeper and not an adventurer. It's also been too long - if ever? - since I've seen a game character on the overweight side who wasn't made out to be a goofy running joke. Megan approves.
