CloseUsing Anaryu's Antilag script in Altima (free of parallel process events with pictures and overlays), the time it takes to go from New Game to controlling the player takes ~4 seconds. Without said script it takes ~10s. It is a fair sized map though (150x170, ~90 events) though.

Hey i have a question for XP.
Ok so i downloaded RPGMaker Xp on my Desktop computer witch has the Xp OS
but my comp dosnt have sound! and the rpgmaker XP wont work!.
Is there a way to get it to work if your computer dosnt have sound

What do you mean by "RPG Maker XP won't work!"? Will the editor start? Will test play start? Will RMXP games you downloaded work?
RMXP should work fine without sound (except it is RMXP and it was made by a bunch of monkeys so I wouldn't put anything past it)
