Hehehe... two of my games were mentioned, and neither is a dating sim. Beautiful Escape is... oh well. And Marvel Brothel is more like an administration simulator, not a dating sim.

There was a game that won the 2004 Misao for the best complete RPG that has dating elements (I don't have the faintest idea of whether this was ever hosted at RMN):

I remember playing that many years ago. I didn't really find many dating sim elements so much as I found a dick meter that needed taking care of :P

I'm not sure how others define Dating Sims, but maybe because I spent too much time with the VN community I have a different perspective of it. Even though there's no "dating sim elements" like give gifts or stuff like those, as long as you end up with another person by setting up "flags" (aka doing correct choices or doing stuff that would turn on a switch for that person) it's like a dating sim.

Makes sense to me. But which game were you referring to?
Castle Chasers seems to be one of those. Mostly VNs follow the same path as well and Romancing Walker.
If you need a nice Dating Sim, I can recommend an Otome game called Re-Alistair++ where you play as a girl, not sure if that'll pass but I'll drop it anyway: http://www.sakevisual.com/realistair/ since RMN hasn't accepted the game submission yet.
