I frequent the site charas project, and when I went there today I was greeted by my most hated malware virus. If you have a cruddy virus protection program, or none at all, DO NOT GO HERE!

I don't know how it happened, but it's there.

I'm running a virus scan right now. Nothing happened the last time I ran into it because I have improved security now, but I did have some problems saving my projects in rm2k for some reason.

Suppose I should update, if you go directly to the resources section through google you should be okay. The homepage is the thing that got hacked, use caution though.

I almost caught the damn virus. Not going back there until anyone confirms that it is safe.

But since I have gathered almost all I wanted from there, I can go on without it.

Does everyone here use resources from charas-project as well? I'm worried that many different games might end up looking the same.

Yep, Charas-Project.net has a virus on their homepage. You can use noscript firefox addon to try and see if you can get around it if you want. It worked for me.

Here's a site with zips full of great resources. I got the 2k3 charas pack from there yesterday, still haven't gotten through all of them yet. There's over 4000 of 'em in there!
