Let me rephrase that, I don't sink very many hours into playing rpgs; it's not just by the engine. I'm just not planning on playing anything made in RM2k3 until the next Generica is finished. Also, I might eventually make a hack that just changes the ATB, I'm going to keep at this for a while.
You're a hero. What are you planning to change exactly? Removing the wait completely between turns would turn it into a fine battle system. Or a complete BS if you play on active mode.

I'm sorry but this doesn't work for lots of people without involved work and even then he's just doubling the timer which speeds EVERYTHING up doesn't work. Plus you have to follow the directions every time you want to do this. It'll really hurt your ability to distribute this game because most people won't want to do this every time they play your game or they won't want to add an exception to their security software.
This was just a quick thing for anyone who wanted to pass by slow rm2k3 battles without using a generic speed hack that you'd have to adjust manually every time you enter or leave a battle. If you still want it it's sitting inside my RMN locker.

I had downloaded this HOWEVER I believe it is from BEFORE GOG rewrote the dll for compatibility with Windows 7.
You can try this and if it doesn't work you'll just have to wait for GOG.
