WHAT WAS THE LAST FILM YOU WATCHED?
Posts
I like The Fountain the least out of his movies, actually. It is a good movie with terrific visuals and a beautiful soundtrack (this guy always seems to have really memorable scores!) but it actually took me two tries to like it because the first time, I was just expecting an "easier", less esoteric type of story and I hadn't prepared myself mentally for it. But yeah, I'd recommend you go see it.
The last movie I saw was uhh... Snatch, but that was a rewatch. So good! Awesome cast and script! The last movie in the cinny I saw was probably Inception.. and I don't need to say anything else about that movie :)

Great Sluv, now you got me to listening to the Disco Science song... (the one played in the rabbit chase scene).
I just saw Inception as well and the last 2 seconds of the film is what made it incredible.
Very good movie.
Very good movie.
I'm going to go see it on Wednesday squeeeeee
The Mist. Illogical ending, bad acting, good monsters. Especially the fucking giant one. In fact the giant monster was the only reason I wanted to watch the movie. It was the special black and white version the director wanted everyone to see so it was a pretty movie, too.
I just watched Run Lola Run a moment ago.. Kinda a mix between Crank and groundhog day with a dash of videogame logic being applyed when someone dies.
But other than that I'm just about to slot in (inhales suspension of disbelief)
Tokyo Gore Police... (and exhale) the most unrealistic representation of the human biologly to grace the screen -o-
I watch too much Foreign cinema.

Transporter. Not as good as the second one in my opinion, but still awesome. Never had a chance to watch it till today 'cause they never seemed to show it on TV when I was able to watch it.
StarSkipping: Run Lola Run is fantastic, Tokyo Gore Police is a piece o' shilt. Recommend Meatball Machine and Machine Girl much more if you're looking for over the top Japanese gore.
Ghost in the Shell. Was kinda eh. Too short. Probably should have read the manga to understand it better. Still pretty animation though.

Versus is a good one too, if you're looking for B-grade japanese gore. Kind of a mix between Highlander, Street Fighter, and The Blair Witch Project, with a healthy sprinkling of campy humor and zombies throughout. Just make sure you get the director's cut (the other version is missing most of the gore and is horribly edited).
I have the bad edit version of Versus. I watched IP Man 2 recently along with Dead man's shoes. Both were enjoyable but the british villain in IP came across as too Cartoony. They really should make a live adaptation of Ghost in the shell as long as they keep the source material intact and make the location look like cyberpunk japan.
I'm most excited about Tron legacy but the one thing that keeps niggling at the back of my mind is arn't we overdue for a Jurassic park 4 or even a more horror styled reboot of it? :(

I started watching a British horror/comedy movie called Severance a few weeks ago. I didn't finish it -- because I was tired -- but I'm going to get back to it, soon. I really enjoyed what I saw, though.
I just saw Everybody's Fine. I'm a sucker for "Character talking to the tombstone of their beloved who've passed away with sad music" scenes.

ahahaha that movie is hilarious and stupid at the same time. I think the funniest part was when one of the bad guys turned into a zombie and he started speed crawling on the trees like bug, that was just lol.
Grave of the Fireflies. I'm pissed I didn't cry. Also watched half of Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance but stopped when I realized everything just going to go from bad to worse, and if I didn't wanna see that I wonder why I was watching a Park Chan-Wok movie in the first place. It was weird that I deemed Mr. Vengeance too depressing then went off and watched Grave of the Fireflies.

yeah the whole series is very depressing but I think the first one is the most depressing and the third one was the only thing that's ever made me really close to vomiting!

Don't forget the part where he burrows underground and pops up behind Hero Guy.
My favorite is the squirrley short guy that keeps losing his gun. He just gets pissed and pulls out an even bigger gun out of his back pocket. By the end of the movie, he's running around with some huge anti-tank sniper rifle thing.
