Like I said, they've had a couple successful movies, maybe a few awards, but the rest of their careers are pure agonizing failure.
thats actually a lot of awards, and both have had a lot of successful movies. there is a reason their names are synonymous with action movies.
Yes, they're names are synonymous with action movies. It works both ways with good action movies and bad action movies.

Yes listen to this man! Give up showbiz you actors. You'll just fail every single time, get back to your roots
and stick with minimum wages. The sure fire way to success
Just realized your avatar isn't a crazy girl trying to rape a scientist, but a crazy girl stomping on the scientist's nads :/
While RMN was down, I watched a few movies, including Big Man Japan. For the last 10 minutes of the movie I was literally on the floor, laughing with tears in my eyes.
I recently watched the Imaginarium of Dr. Pertussis. Or Parnassus. Either way it was a weird rambling movie that was somewhat enjoyable but hard to follow when you are chasing a ten-month-old as he tries to crawl up the stairs every 10 minutes.
I wish the movie was inspired by video games rather than blatantly going "get it? we're all about the video games! *mario sound effect*" But yeah I liked it, as much as I hate to admit I relate to a lot of the relationship stuff. What also helped the movie was that Edgar Wright had a big hand in this.
I'm still not sure about the Scott Pilgrim film. The jokes in the trailer are absolutely awful.
"You have to use the L word."
"Lesbian?"
"The other L word"
"Lesbians?"
Nah.

The trailers make it out to be terrible. I didn't wanna see it at all, but my friends invited me so I was like hell why not, and damned if it wasn't a friggin' fun movie.
Yeah some jokes are a hit and miss, I really liked the actual story and general pacing though, it really works. Just go see it, you'll at LEAST won't regret it.
edit: same orig, didn't care about seeing the movie at first, sister forced me to go see it with her, ended up liking it.

If you think the trailers made it look bad, and enjoyed it, that scares me. I enjoy the trailers. My fear now is that it'll be the opposite of what the trailer looks like. Now I'm doomed. Thanks a lot, Orig. /joke.
