CloseMe and my friend were trying to find something productive to do the other night, but instead we decided to LP one of our REALLY old games. Quite possibly one of the worst RPG Maker games I've ever seen.
We mostly did it for our own personal lulz, and we know we're not all that funny or entertaining, but I figured I'd share anyway. We also have an LP of The Way going on, but updates on that are sporadic.. :\ We'd like to start a series of LPs of both console and RPG Maker games, so any feedback would be appreciated. Hell, even if you want to flame us, go for it.

I've actually been meaning to do something like this for a while. Maybe it should be a community thing, it'd be interesting (though seeing everyone's end to end would most likely only be funny for so long). But this is pretty entertaining! Seen the first episode so far. For what it's worth, this game looks much better than some of mine...
I thought it was flippin' hilarious. Especially the whole mysterious depth thing going on in the last episode. And I totally lost track of what year it was. D:

This is pretty fun! I can tell you guys share a lot of memories and nostalgia over this game and it really shines through, I'd recommend slightly less screaming and more videos?
Yeah, we were acting a little silly when we recorded it. We (okay, mostly me) will try not to be so screechy in the future. X] This project really dominated most of our middle school career, so it does have a lot of nostalgia in it for us. I couldn't even tell you how many nights we stayed up working on it... the hard work certainly doesn't SHOW, but it's there.

Just watched your DL one, it's okay. I think you shouldn't read the dialogue out loud because I'm pretty sure I can read it myself (unless you're making fun of grammar or something). I didn't laugh at any of the jokes but you have decent voice presence. I myself am thinking of doing RM related LPs but idk perfectionism and a good game to LP is holding me back.

post=152755I think between sounding too energetic/loud, and sounding bored like in my previous attempts at LPs, I'd prefer to err on the side of too loud, but bear in mind that I am still finding my groove.
I would try to tone things down a bit.

Anyone who would be interesting, him and I are going to try to get through as much of the original Spyro the Dragon as we can come this Saturday (we're going to be doing a lot of commercial games, as well as RPG Maker games).
