USING RPG MAKER HAS CHANGED MY VIEW ON GAMING.

I'm a little upset that the only example you have is the use of switches and variables when that is basically the most minor point you could make about game dev.

Here are some more different, more meaningful things RM* can teach you:

-How long it takes to make a solid game
-How many individual resources go into a single project
-If working in a group, how easy it is to have vision clashes
-Learning how to get something out of your head and on paper and then... into the game
-That a lot of time has to go into polishing and testing a game to make it worthwhile
-Each minute spent doing one thing is a minute not spent working on another aspect of the game
-Balancing everything in a game takes a lot of work and know-how

...but it's nice that you notice booleans?
Yeah, I noticed all those things, too. Well, except the additional bolded parts. My method of game making involves making shit up on the spot, rather than careful planning. And I haven't worked in a group yet, so that one is void. And no clue what booleans mean.
Well, I guess it's not nice then..?
Boolean: A variable that can hold a single true/false (1/0) value;

Ah, that makes sense, then.

I've made some amateur films and whenever I watch a movie, I always pay attention to the camera work, cuts, etc. instead of enjoying the story :(

HAHA ditto. I always notice goofs, cuts, weird camera angles and stuff when watching movies now instead of focusing on the movie itself.
I feel the same way when it comes to art. I used to appreciate all forms of it, now, I can't help but laugh at little kids drawings, and I feel really bad about it :(
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Actually, little children younger than 10 are fucking ridiculous at art. I have some photos of children's art that I took while I was in China and goddamn, it is unfair how skilled they are at such young ages.

BUT THEN AGAIN, fuckin', like 2 year old asian girls play bach invention no 13 or some shit

In all fairness, little kids are really terrible artists!

Dood, the first page got all F's... That's terrible
I still use some good conventions of game design I came up with when I was 6 or so back before I even learned how to use a computer. I used to test them on paper and play them out with friends.

To be fair, so did the second page.

My view on films was never the same after examining CGI in depth. I can see where texture maps were poorly applied in CGI TV shows, etc.

It kind of ruins the experience.

But then I saw Wall-E...
