I'm not entirely sure what my first games were. I have a memory of playing Pong on a TV (or "The fun game with the white sticks and the ball" It was probably Pong). I also remember some game involving a house and a cat which upon later research I think was Alley Cat (though the Alley Cat I remember had way better graphics...)

Another game I remember fairly clearly is Prince of Persia but I've found that that game was made in 1990 or something so it feels a bit late. Since I got my NES in 1991 and I had played a lot of stuff at my neighbour's before that. And before my NES I also had a collection of a bunch of Game & Watch games. (In kindergarten when I was five or six there was a guy with the double-screen Donkey Kong that everyone wanted a piece of)

That's the early games I remember. I couldn't say which one was first.

Either Pac-Man or Mr. Do.

I grew up in the 80s.

However, my first personally owned game was Sonic 2.

There was this Batman game on the Master System but I don't remember it very well. (EDIT: geodude's videos just popped up, yeah I think it was Batman Returns)
Apart from that I got Comix Zone for the MegaDrive on my 5th birthday. Still one of my favourite games even though I've never actually beaten it.

There was Tekken 2, Tomb Raider, Namco Museum vol.3, Resident Evil 1+2, Medievil, among others. All for the original Playstation.
