Do you guys know in certain games like Lufia II or Golden Sun when NPCs talk there is this blooping sound? Could someone find or make me a blooping sound like that? Thanks.

Have you tried altering the pitch?

And since this is a HELP YDS topic, err, I just remembered that I should probably get back to you like I said I would soon. Nag me if I don't by tomorrow sometime. =P

I am also fond of those bloopy sounds. Though I don't think they are pre-recorded. As in, depending on the text/text speed, those bloops should be dynamic, at least idealy.

What I did for them in In Praise of Peace (or one of those games of mine like that; plenty never see the light of day) is hard-coded the pitch and pitch range for each faceset. That way, the bloops are still dynamic but the game automatically knows that Martin has a deeper voice than Padrick.

Note that most scripts that do this allow or can be edited to allow a variable to determine the pitch, set by the developer. I just hard-coded it because it's 500% easier than setting a variable every single textbox.

Anyone have a voice sound effect of Sniper Wolf or Meryl when they get shot in Metal Gear Solid?
I need one for one of my female bosses and the voice of a normal male soldier ain't gonna work very well.
I've searched the net, but I'm not finding any.

I think half a sec or max 1 sec long will be enough, otherwise it will just sound weird when hit by rapid damage.
