ahahaha jesus dude NOBLE TEAM is this really the fight you want to have. ugh elitists....
Keep in mind I'm not defending the actual design decisions of the storyline or whatever (which is...pretty decent for what it is). I'm just talking about the fun factor of the actual game.

Halo is one of those series that seem really interesting. The setting and promotional videos usually have insanely good quality and convey a mood that is "just right". However the only actual experience I have with the games is a demo of the first Halo on the PC.
I mean looking at those trailers they are pretty damn awesome. I'd want to play that game if I had an Xbox. And I'd probably want to play it for the single player alone.
But remember I'm one of those who is insanely fascinated by the storyline and mythology in the Resident Evil games... So I guess my word doesn't count for much in these things. :)

I have only really played the single player of Halo on the Xbox (came with the system). It looks pretty, and the story seemed to have a lot of promise, but unfortunately the game itself was just really really boring and I couldn't get into it. None of the weapons were interesting, and the AI was rather bland.
I went back to playing Unreal Tournament on the PC for my FPS fix.

You guys are acting like the military doesn't use naming conventions like this... AEGIS, TF Fury, Patriot missiles, Camp Slayer...

Huh, yeah, that is true. Never thought of that.
I've enjoyed all the Halo games and I feel Reach is a great way for Bungie to bow out of the series. Everytime a new Halo comes out, it's tradition for me and three friends to go to the midnight launch, stay up until 7am beating the campaign on Legendary, then live on the multiplayer like it's a drip for several months.
Reach is probably the best Halo since the original, having finished the campaign on Heroic now and playing some of the new multiplayer modes. BTW Infection is seriously fun, armor abillities are the shit, especially the hologram, you don't know how many times Ive made that work and died because it actually did and I was too busy laughing haha.
Gonna play through legendary soon though by myself. Should be awesome!
