EMOTIONAL MOVIES

Oh well. Samurai 7 is the only movie that made me feel sorry for each of the men as they were killed off. However, not many movies effect me in any way at all.
Who cries at a Disney movie for chrissakes!? xP
Also, four pages and nobody has mentioned "Life is Beautiful"? You people disappoint me. x(
"Buon giorno, Principessa!"

I remember crying at the end of Edward Scissorhands when I was younger. I also cried at the end of Life is Beautiful.
The most recent movie to dehydrate me was Hachi:A Dog's Tale. They took, oh, about a billion liberties with the Hachiko story, including making it about an American, and using a Shiba Inu to represent an Akita puppy at the beginning, but the film still got to me. The scenes with the young Hachiko reminded me of working with my Akita-Shepherd mix as a pup. To make matters worse, she happened to walk over to check on me and rested her head on my leg during a scene that already had me on the verge of tears. Right as I looked down, she gave me an "is something wrong, can I help?" look, and well, cue the waterworks.

I know it isn't a movie, but I just finished watching the ending of season 4 of Doctor Who....
Tears just came down my face, this show is really, absolutely, brilliant.
Not the first time I shed a tear during this show either. The character of the "doctor" is incredibly interesting and awesome, while very, very sad at the same time.
Sorry for the slight off-topic, it's just that sometimes, some longer-running shows allow you to develop much deeper connections to the characters, since you spend hours upon hours with them, while movies are usually over after 2 hours.

Ip Man - it's based on the story of one of Bruce Lee's teachers, I cried watching this movie. But not tears of sadness. Tears of "Omg that's so awesome"
Check it on Hulu
There is a part 2 which is pretty good, but if you have to choose one, I suggest part one.

Bruce spent very little time with Wong fe Hung/Ip Man. There are allot of older movies with him from like the 70's and 80's based off of his legacy. He even has his own theme song.
Pay it Forward- He tries so hard to change the world, it works. Then, he gets stabbed by 12-year-olds. After his death, millions of people gathered to mourn him. It doesn't help that I was depressed by the fact that it would never happen.
