Three of the 140, something, cutscenes.
OH GWD -- THE CUTSCENES!!!
Okay, I have finished around 97 of them (since Feb of this year), and I actually enjoy doing these. I'm doing about three tonight, and call it a day. :D

Testing CC. Just got pretty obliterated by Nero and Crass in Miehlebin. I haven't strayed off the beaten path once this time around so I think I might be a couple of levels below par. Plus I forgot dem bolt rings. Never forget them bolt rings.
Especially when Nero's pulling Bolt2 every second turn. Stupid high agility meanie.
(I have won this fight before- it's all good, they're meant to be like that).

Cutting and Pasting Monsters onto the Game Maps...
Labourious, but without it there wouldn't be much game play... lol
But having to tinker within each event to show the right backdrop etc is getting annoying... lol

Adding battles to the database. Considering I'm making evented battles, a huge work on copy-pasting and changing a lot of numbers and details inside battle events for every battle. Not my favorite part.

HA, I feel happier knowing im not in this boat alone..! lol
Systematically finishing the battle system for Backstage 2, rather than doing it piecemeal as I go along. i.e. before I would only add protocols for a new weapon or a new enemy when they appeared in game, and work on mapping and cutscenes in between. Now I'm nailing down the code for every weapon's effects on every enemy. Because the battle system in B2 is totally instanced, this is incredibly tedious, but once I have these ~16 uber events done (one of each of eight enemies for each of two player characters, since each PC has their own weapon set) placing enemies should be purely a matter of copy pasting and adjusting parameters.
Systematic vs. piecemeal game design is an interesting topic. I might blog about it if the mood takes me.

Remapping the introduction scenes for Character using resources from Solar Tear (thanks Mr Nemo <3). Also messing around with Tomoaky's SRPG2 system.
EDIT: Apparently you can do some amazing things with the latter:

Just finished eventing a side-quest that the player can take advantage of if they're low on cash. Defeating a certain enemy will reward the player with $500 a piece, and there's 20 of them. They're kinda hard though as to discourage relentless farming early on.
I recolored the dead nightgaunts to purple and the dead gearworks to orange. Previously, nightgaunts were purple while alive and gearworks were orange but they both instantly turned 'blue' on death because I'm scavenging together kind-of-similar-looking resources for 'dead' sprites from a completely different place/artist than I'm getting the live sprites. But now...it is fixed.
It's weird how you can put off doing some minor mundane task for like five or six years and then finally just whip out MS Paint and do it.

Just started the production of Aftermath VX - Chapter 1 - I am currently revamping the map graphics.

Dead Town Vol.1 Survival horror, so it's basically based on the prologue and a couple of chapters to finish it off , don't tell me how many projects I have, baleeting them by deleting any useless crap projects, to lessen the brain damage I'll get by working on them.
A 27 year old woman, whose a private investigator, stops by a town called Huntville for a night's rest, on the way to Toronto, to meet a client, meets the caretaker of the motel. Ends up stuck, the day after, where her tires were all busted, properly deliberately. Everything is closed in town, for some odd reason. Nearly the town is empty most the day. Though people are acting strangely, but not really important to the main character's surroundings at the time. Has to get a room, sleeps, awakens, still night time, when she hears a loud crash inside the motel, finds the innkeeper dead on the floor, with doors and windows smashed. Appears, to be a new case on her hands, as she appears to be in the middle of a massive murder spree, but it turns into some kind of unnatural occurrence, when more bodies continue to pile up. The police force are nowhere to be found, what is going on in this town?
That's all I got to describe this one. Without spoiling. Might do a write up. This is only choice, to do a mystery/horror game. So it won't be become a big rpg/adventure game. I'm not running out of ideas, seeing as I popping out a lot these days. lol.

hi-5 o/
The worst thing is finding an error on a piece of code and having to change the same piece in every battle... like I just did. :(

Working on a couple of things, today: :D
* Bumping up Sugar's & The Aquatic Adventures Of Scuba Steve's (remember them?) tracklist up a few songs. A soundtrack is never complete until its game is complete.
Sugar's going up from 34 to 40 (mostly little jingles that play during the main game)...
...And Scuba Steve is going up from 60 to 68 (again, mostly little jingles, considering this game is already pretty much already laid out for me, so yeah).
* More cutscenes for Stock Ticker! I've been on a roll lately after doing a few the last previous few days, and I thought I would crackin' on a few more! :D
* Probably work on setting up Monopoly's game page today. I think it's high time to get this 'updated classic' on RMN -- post haste!
* Writing down a few new game ideas to my -- already -- stacked list. ^^
I've got some work to do! :D
Brent I just found this:

I am currently under experimentation phase to get used to the RPG Maker engines. So far, a test game codenamed "Project Synchronization" is under development. Regardless, I placed one music-based Easter Egg that is fairly easy to reach by interaction.
That said, the database and events induced motion sickness... Whether it's from what I ate or I think too much, I need to rest for a bit before moving on...
