I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Been making the battle sprites for my generic enemy soldiers. Took several days of work (spread out across a few weeks), since these guys appear so often that I need them from every angle using both weapons and magic. That's not counting the two days I wasted trying to make them do 80s dance moves, which would have been awesome if I were skilled enough to make it actually look like 80s dancing instead of looking like someone with huntington's syndrome doing aerobic exercises.



Each direction has four poses. From top to bottom: standing still, flinching, critical health, and attacking. The attack poses for the ones with guns are three frames, making that the only actual animated pose for these guys, because fuck animated poses.

I'm pretty happy with the side-facing and down-facing ones. The up-facing ones look wrong, like their arms are in the wrong places. But anywhere else I put them looks just as bad. This is time consuming and obnoxious. I guess I'll keep screwing with it until it looks okay.

Nothing much, just having a mucking around with the Atelier RGSS Animated Title system.
I've been finishing up my SR demo and uploading Let's Try videos.
I'm still trying to come up with ideas for 100+ unique Burst abilities for Centuria. Coming up with ability effects/properties is easy enough, it's just the naming process that is challenging. It doesn't take long to run out of cool skill names.

With some thing's I've written for Uchioniko, things were looking a tad sequence-heavy. I was seeing, like, maybe four sequences before I hit an action scene. They weren't necessarily back-to-back, but the amount of stuff that players could do was rather limited. So, rather than do that to players, I'm looking to condense things down to more like two sequences before getting players into some action.

Also, I'm wondering about what else I can do, gameplay-wise. Treasure-hunting is a no-go, as there's literally no treasure to hunt. Puzzles? Well, I figure I have what it takes to do basic puzzles, but not anything terribly complex. I know I once had an idea with Matsumori Days involving having the player do stuff for permanent stat boosts, but the idea never panned out. I'm somewhat hesitant to do something along those lines with Uchioniko, though.
Experimental game made in SMBX. I'll be posting it once I make enough of these levels. This level is still being developed, obviously xD

It's one section set on Level Wrap and certain parts change as you make laps.




This isn't really a level, it was the first test area. Near the end, those little mid-air ramps would be invisible. I found(by accident) that if you place them in that exact spot, Mario's Kart glitches through them and does a high jump.



I think the premise of the game will be that you need to collect all the coins before you run 3 laps. If you don't get the coins, there is a teleport waiting to send you to the "you lose" finish line. If you get all the coins the teleport will be different, and take you to the "you win" finish line.

What also happens when you get all the coins is that the red coins appear. If you collect all the red coins you get a star before crossing the finish line. The yellow coins are mostly collected by riding the Kart. Sometimes you have to stand towards the back of the Kart to touch the coin. The red coins will be in hard to reach places.

You might not realize without playing, but it's damn hard to catch up and jump back on the Kart. It takes getting used to. Oh, and you can't leave the Kart behind and beat the level. Instead of being able to walk into the finish line teleport, you will not be able to control Mario anymore and he will stand still. Then you die xD

Story of Ligara, yes, I'm still workin on it, on the assassin quest, the four hunts are just ones that progress the storyline. I'll properly see if I can fix Endoleash sidequest, even so completed, because I'm not sure if the rocks were disappearing after.

I also having to re-do a scene that I was working on for the assassin hunt, before my pc got a blue screen. Fuck you pc! :shakesfist:

Also will change the monster sprite for the bandit and thier leader(because I'm using a pokemon evil inside monster sprite, he looks like his arm is disfigured) to bigger monster placements, so no one is a midget lol,
I'm drawing fabulous dragons. Who doesn't want to fight fabulous dragons?...:/

Right now I am working on two things.

1. Familiarizing myself with rpg maker xp, I want to finish my game Red Skies which has seen about 4 rebirths and been in planning for like 12 years. It's actually possible for me to finally finish something with this engine. I got discouraged with rm2k3 because my abs was consuming all the time I wanted to put into the map and game play. But on xp, I am using Blizz ABS, which does all that nasty work for me. :D

2. Working with the unity engine. Me and a few guys from my minecraft server all decided to make a game in unity, and the engine looks very promising so far.
Everything BUT the thing I should be working on. Namely fooling around with the YEM engine in VX for ideas with SW2, as well as random stuff with some other sprites I've found over the years for RM2k3. Of course, my brain is now starting to think that this set of RTP battlers I found that are pretty awesome would be a better idea to do a really quick, like, six month dev cycle or something game rather than these tiny characters that are adorable and rather original-ish but I don't have chipsets to match with - unless I want to use REFMAP as usual; but they're too small for that.

I'm working on RED, my ambient exploration game with minimal graphics, as well as Tales of Ilidria, a game in which I spend half-an-hour per day spamming as much as development as I can into this game. It prevents me from having developer's block, since I don't actually care what the final product is, and thus can implement features as freely as I want. It's going to be horrible, but that's kind of the point :_)
Working on a few things... Need more sprite animations for one, or I'd like more. Writing out scenarios, it's fun but incorporating puzzles that feel more natural can be difficult. Puzzles always appealed to me though so I don't mind heh.

Need to choose which character is going to get drawn next. Cast is basically, just need to take the concept art and have an artist complete it.

A mission log and beastiary, as written by an eleven-year-old girl on cutesy stationary.

Cosmic terrors are best described by lowercase i's with hearts for dots, clearly.
Right now on two things:
- Leveling up system based on equipment, which turned out to be a pain in the pooper
- 'Empty' World map, where you basically build your own city's and resources. The world generates events based on how you are shaping the world. Got the beginning done. Even survived the first round of bug fixing, so right now I feel like I can handle the world!

some horrible picasion gif maker thing showing what i am trying to do.

In photoshop, when I try to save my animation to a GIF file, it goes into 256 color mode, and it looks really sucky.

Then I thought about APNGS, but I have no clue how to use APNGASM.
Yeah, this is for a planned game, just thought I would take a shot at the logo.(It will probably be changed many many many many times.)
