Tried to get rid of the character sets in the battler folder, because I was trying for a side view battle system, only to remove everything accidentally, and re-doing the battlers in Liberation Arms. Worth it, anyway. Most of the battlers
were around the net like rpgmakervxace.net/com or rpgmakerweb. Surely I can find them again.

oh look another random, fruitless battle shot from craze you have a 10% chance of ever actually being able to play
The details of the workin' on that is happening:
-i need to add the Favor/Monster Rage bar on the bottom left, showing the Abyssal One favoring you at the moment (granting a stat boost) and the current Rage%.
-1% monster rage is built every turn you spend in battle throughout an entire dungeon, making monsters that much stronger/resistant. this is NotEdifice, after all; instead of only having so much HP, now you have to fight efficiently so as to not face a super-powered boss
- the x% above HP is that character's Morale; i plan to make their eyes go grey as they hit low Morale. monsters will actively seek to break your party's will to fight, making characters weaker in every possible regard - but your leader-type characters can bolster morale and raise it up to 200% to better vanquish your enemy
-you have max 5 energy, and 2 en is restored each turn. each character can act as long as they want each turn, provided they have the en to pay for it; this is pretty heavily inspired by Magic and your build-up of lands (indeed, you were originally going to build more max mana every turn... but i scrapped that)
-four characters fight at once, but you bring seven out of your total army into a dungeon; you can swap in any of your three reserve members at the start of the turn. everybody in the dungeon gets full XP, but people back in the dark sanctuary (your base) get nada!
-why do i bother explaining this, i never release anything anyway

I can't help but love the dead digits. That's something I have always liked and should get around to doing!
I'm writing up a rough outline for a plot heavy game called Skin Deep that is my take on the prime-time medical drama. I really hope I get around to being able to turn it into something playable, since the mix of equal parts House and Nip/Tuck is a lot of fun to write!
Aside from Linus, I'm getting started on a short sci-fi game about a mysterious web forum. It's inspired by Earthbound. :p
Here's the title screen!

All twenty battle faces fit into my default window size perfectly, without any awkward leading images. I'm so happy.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

And then I hacked Craze's computer and turned on hidden and system files, so that thumbs.db pushed them down one notch and ruined his day.
I'm working on a little cyberpunk project. Takes place in dark neon lit city. Nothing I would hold my breath over.. all graphics/sprites are custom.
author=blueperiodI like it.

@Craze: Stop having cool ideas people will never get to play.
Ah, the chill of hypocrisy goes down my spine after typing that...
@Link_212: Looks like a lot of work that's paying off! I'm sure you've noticed the lag in the red uh... target area following the player; I'm guessing that's a hard thing to fix?
@blueperiod: Minimalistic! I think too much empty space for my own personal tastes, however the faded look to the 5th square is interesting.
@Machine_Relief: Well I won't be holding my breath, I've got not particular interest in suffocation. But it'd be nice to see some of these snazzy custom graphics! The cyberpunk look is a fun one.
I'm working on a bunch of things. A bunch of boring mechanical stuff that is dull as rocks to talk about. But also graphics.
I need to stop disappointing Happy! I was supposed to have these done months ago. Miss lady luck in the blue skirt is most recent, and I'm well aware of how odd her half-finished hair looks. It's 5AM and I want to sleep though OTL
I am actually really concerned about the perspective here. Although it's pixel art for now, it won't be staying that way, but I don't want to go and finish only to realize I've flubbed up the entire angle... I honestly have no clue what I'm doing! OTL
I made this file last year and never took the time to finish. Granted, I've been busy with other things, but yeesh! So I would quite like to finish this soon, though this is another area where I have no clue what I'm doing. OTL

author=PentagonBuddyThe cyberpunk look is fun to work with too! I hope to have something to show the community early next year.

@PentagonBuddy : your stuff looks great (I would say as usual) : love your sprites with maybe a slight preference for the silly looking one all the way on the right, admirative of the bottom animated one (for an absolutely non spriter, can you imagine the effect?!), and fascinated by this (middle) attempt at configuration (which also goes way, way, beyond my knowledge of RM manipulation, which does not amount to much, I must confess).
I'm messing around with the VX Ace Trial to see if it will be worth it for me to claim my prize from the raffle or use it as a prize in a later event.
Also, just wrote my first Ruby Script to change some stuff in battle. Yeayuh.

I WILL PUT SOMETHING OUT FOR THIS. I SWEAR. So much of the background stuff is already done, it'd be a shame not to finish... sigh.
Also I agree, there's something odd about the perspective on that building. Do I have any idea what, though? LOLNO

It's the back sloped part of the roof. It probably shouldn't be visible; if it is visible, it definitely shouldn't be almost as tall as the front sloped part. The front sloped part is angled to face the camera while the back sloped part is angled perpendicular to the camera and should be either barely visible or covered by the top part of the roof. Other'n that it looks okay to me.

Out of curiosity, I tried a little something with it on my own. It looks kinda okay on its own, but it still doesn't match up with the perspective of the tileset.

You don't like the lag? I thought it looked kind of neat :3 like a floating augmented reality object. It can be turned on/off. The same kind of visual "lag" is applied to the orange target arrow too.
To fix it I need to have it as a Show Picture event on Parallel Process with no wait, so it would end up contributing more to game lag. The visual "lag" is a move picture event that takes 0.1 with a wait of 0.1 afterwards, so less game lag(I believe). With a CBS I'm assuming that lag will become an issue as more stuff is added to the calculations so I'm trying to create environmentally friendly code.
I can always just make it an option and the player can decide which looks better or lags less hah

RPG Maker perspective doesn't have a vanishing point. North-south lines go straight vertical. If it had a vanishing point like this, you wouldn't be able to use tiles. (At least not without Mode 7.)
