I need help with a class project. I need to make a video like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtH-M8dvjCw
(I was helped to make that one a long time ago)
If anyone can help me out with this, I'd be so happy. It is just a pretty simple project. :< All the subtitle stuff was added on YouTube.

Oh cool..didn't know you learn chinese. (I am a chinese myself btw ).
As for film editing, hmm this youtube video doesn't see hard to do, but if you don't mind, care to elaborate on the scope of your project? I can do decent film editing, to be honest.

I am just going to voice over (and video edit) a single track and record a bunch of weird clips with one of the animals in my house (this time, I am going to have my dog).
I just needed someone to put the clips together, get rid of the original sound and through the voice over on top. >_<
This year, I am going to do a video about my dog explaining an all American holiday Thanksgiving. Heheheh.

I know film editing. What did you need? Send me an email or MSN me and I can give you a hand with it later tonight.
It will be awhile! I won't be able to film this project until Thanksgiving because my dog is at home. What is your e-mail?
That stuff should be pretty easy even in something like Windows Movie Maker. In most video editing programs there are a number of audio tracks you can use. So basically you just mute the original audio track and import a pre-recorded one you've already made.
I think both VirtualDub and Avidemux have the capabilities to do what you're asking, YDS.
I think Windows Movie Maker can do everything you need.
And in case you don't know, it comes with Windows. And it's pretty intuitive to use. But if you need help, we're on irc. :D

Oh, are you a Chinese national or ethnically Chinese? Just curious!

Ethnically chinese. From Singapore, to be exact :)
Ah, awesome! I am struggling a lot in that class because we randomly switch from traditional to simplified and I don't speak a lick of it. >_>
