Having an emotional connection and being close to someone you like, along with the added intimacy and (free/unlimited) sex longterm, is a better investment than repeatedly patronizing a sex worker over and over again.
Hell, even a random hookup is better than wrangling a prostitute, not that I have any real beef with the industry or anything.

By the end of 2011, I hope to have the first draft of my novel completed. In the beginning of 2011, I want to start looking for local art/writing groups in my city in hopes that I can find someone to *guide* me along the right path so that I can develop my skills to be the very best they can be.

Anyway, I'm not exactly insecure with the thought of being alone, and I'd rather find a partner being who I am rather than act out of character just to attract someone I never would have talked / don't want to talk to in the first place.
