Wow, cool stuff Nessiah. Is everyone else okay with using Akropolis?

Anyone have story ideas? I was thinking generic stuff, just for ease of creation, but something else would be great too.
I'd be fine with using Akropolis stuff.

I had an idea once for a parody of generic games, where the player would have to collect 8 magical pieces of cutlery such as "The Bowl Of Bravery", "The Cup Of Courage", and "The Fork Of Freedom".

I think a parody would be the best, cause it's easy, but not overdone.

EDIT: Of course, we would have to expand the amount of collectibles to however many people were involved.

oh, I like that a lot Lennon. Everyone has to make a collectible artifact in their chapter. Good idea, man.

Pity on who ever gets last spot.

Alright, on my lunch break I'll assemble the project and get this big fatty rolling.
BTW: I will not be compiling a list of people to go. You guys need to vote... but vote smart. It will be 2 weeks per person to do their section, so think calender-wise when you'll be available to do your part. Obviously shit will hit the fan for certain people, but say if you are going to school / uni... don't pick a slot where you'll be doing exams or whatever.
Myself, I am relatively available over the Christmas holidays because of my shite work schedule, so I will gladly let you all enjoy the holidays and pass off Chapter 1 after boxing day or whatever.
How'll the database be handled? Stuff like heroes and skills and growth rates are pretty persistant fellows that will carry from one segment to another. Are there any rules for them?
I absolutely *adore* Akropolis. So I loved this idea. Really. And Lennon's idea seems fine! I like it, too.

I guess each participant could ad up to x items / skills / etc. in each chapter, while still reusing the previous ones? That seems pretty fair to me, but... Mm.

I'm totally game for Chapter 2. I'm back in school around January 20th and will be working on E2 for a bit, so if you can get it to me in that window (christmas-early january) then I'd totally be up for it.

Perhaps 200 switches and 50 variables/monsters/monster parties per chapter? Handing off one-by-one will reduce the need for such planning, but some people may have ideas already. I also think that people in the early chapters should introduce some common links, such as collectibles and so forth.

If I have chapter 2, I may introduce a couple wrinkles into the gameplay.
Leave huge empty spaces in the data base for other people to fill in. The first person will have to be careful about that.

Oh I will be. Making the main topic now.
Got plenty of ideas about how to leave this wide open for others while I build. This is something I've been inadvertently working towards throughout my RM career.
