The RTP sound effects pretty much...vanished from my game. I know the files themselves are still there, and it was all working fine until a few days ago. Even when I make new projects the same problem occurs; the editor isn't picking up the RTP sound effects. Even the RTP music is fine. What happened and how can I fix it?
Double-click your Volume Control and check your WAV Volume.
My WAV volume is fine as well. It's not as if I'm trying them out in the editor and I can't hear them; the files aren't showing up at all.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I don't see the problem. This is like a blessing. You no longer have to go through and delete them when you start a new project!

... why would you delete the actual files
Maybe you set the folder to hidden?
Best solution is to just reinstall RTP i guess, and possibly the editor was well.

If you want to make a new project that will have all self-contained resources, just rename the RTP folder to something else. There you go, the editor will flash random error messages until you load and set your custom resources, though. They're nothing to worry about.
When you want to go back to opening something using RTP, rename that folder back to RTP. I think the RTP system was a bad idea to begin with, all other editors just have a library of stock stuff you include manually.
You may want to copy and paste the WAV files into your sound directory, Feld. Sure this will bloat your game but I think it is better than your game simply not working.
