CloseI've been keeping tabs on this short movie after viewing the preview roughly a year ago. And it's finally come to completion I recommend everyone who is a half life fan and who isn't to watch this right now.
I saw this trailer a month or two ago. I've never played Half Life, but I know a bad underbudget movie when I see one. Its by fans though, so I shouldn't be too harsh.

Saw this yesterday. Pretty damn good.
The sad thing is, if a professional studio made a Half-Life movie it wouldn't be as good as this.

This is really well done, for being fan made movie.
but ummm, trained soldiers don't have light firearm body armor?
why did he drop the grenade? wouldn't the soldiers just back up and not get too close?
and rofl, fat asian, like he would make it.
also, just like stormtroopers these soldiers apparently must not have any training in accuracy.

Yeah, it lost me when I fast forwarded to the cliché stupidly choreographed fight scene. These amateurs don't know what Half Life is about.
It was really good, InfectionFiles is right, except that it is based on a videogame. Everyone knows NPC enemies have terrible aim.

As a fan movie, this wasn't bad. As a Half-Life movie, it was terrible.
NightBlade was right. These guys don't know what Half-Life is about. It also wasn't particularly well directed, but whatever.
This is vastly superior. This is what I thought this thread was about! I got all excited!
edit: seriously, did the guys in this movie even play the game, Ark? What were those frigging zombies? The zombies in HL2 are not just ZOMBIES they are HEADCRAB zombies! blarg!
Escape From City 17 was filmed partially in Toronto, and the Purchase Brothers are from Toronto. If only they'd cast me =(
