CloseSo, I have a brother who plays Runescape and keeps bugging me to do so. He's about level70 (I'm a measly level 6 -_-;) and is on almost all the damn time wanting me to join him for quests. I've been getting progressively more annoyed at this over the last month or so. Then I had an idea. Why not ask here, a site where many gamers converge, to see if anyone who already plays wouldn't mind adding another friend to the list?
So what do you say, fellow gamers? Anyone interested in going on some quests with my brother? He's an okay person and really desperate - enough so to offer to pay the membership fees for someone...
If you want to just add w1shwiz4rd as a friend and tell him I sent you his way (so he knows I wasn't bluffing about asking).

Honestly, RuneScape isn't all that bad if you ignore all the idiots that roam about and focus on the game itself. I still play it every now and then when I'm bored out of my mind.

I don't know why he's so into the game. Maybe it's because it's the first one he's played or he likes the system or I don't know! I'm not into MMOs. I didn't like the whole 'plonked down in the middle of nowhere and find your way' thing. Stories for the win.

RuneScape is pretty well designed when it comes to choosing your own adventure. I've actually not yet seen another MMORPG where you don't even have to kill monsters, you can simply chop down forests all day or dig down to the center of the earth and still have fun if that's what you prefer.
Of course, this non-linear nature isn't everyone's cup of tea as Liberty has pointed out.

I never really got into runescape. It seems like an enjoyable little romp, but it's spread way too thin.

Once you complete all the free quests and have no interest in becoming a member, the game gets very boring.
