SOME VX ENGINE HELP.

Ok, quick question. So I have just started VX to work on the sequels sequel to a game series I am making. Now, after realizing I just lost $60 on a very un-detailed tile and character set. I decided to breath and calm down.So then I was like, "OK, I need to make some houses." But there are only walls and I need roofs for houses. I don't see any but two things that look like roofs.

Also, that waterfalls have rocks behind them, why do the waterfalls have rocks behind them?

Well, considering that the alternative options are THEFT or not making RPGs in RPG Maker, I don't think that $60 was a bad investment.

As for roof tiles - on the A tab of the chapset, there are about 11 roof-like roof tiles. The first row of tiles right after the snowplains/forest/mountains are all roof tiles, and then 2 rows down the first 4 or so are also roof tiles (and, depending on your opinion, the rest of the ones in that row, plus the other 2 sets of "upper" tiles can be construed as roof tiles).

As for the waterfalls, you'd have to make edits to remove the hint of rocks behind them.
Yep, I'm going to have so much fun with VX. *cries*
You probably should have downloaded the trial before buying...

As what kentona said, every other tile on a column is a roof tile.
Or you could, you know, use things other than VX RTP.

How could you suggest such a thing?! Enterrain is full of geni-

Yeah, I would do that since I do that with almost every other game. Except the sad fact that many VX tiles I've seen don't look realitic at all in anyway. I think VX actually downgraded from XP.

Weren't you just asking for help with a fully RTP map?
Yet, wasn't there another screen shot of that same game that DIDN'T use the RTP?

Again, why not use things other than VX RTP*?

*Things other than VX RTP includes XP RTP.
Because the XP RTP will go well with the low detailed colorful happy rainbow characters VX provides. I usually only make the main characters without the RTP. So the clash in a dark rpg world with a colorful wonder land and and and...

What the heck is up with the facesets?

I don't know because the game doesn't exist as project under your profile tab; was it rejected for BCB
Well, you can change the tiles, the sprites, the facesets and every other graphical utility; or you can keep complaining and never make your dark rpg world.

Aren't there "rocks" behind Niagara Falls? And every other waterfall for that matter?
...sounds like you need to make your own custom resources. Case closed.
Yes I could do this of which you speak. If there was a way to convert Xp and 2003 Charsets to VX. These sprites are like 1mm away from each other.

XP had spaces between each sprite, and even though 2k# had them closer, VX is just plain crazy. How are the sprites even seperated?
You actually can. From Xp to Vx, just remove the last column. Then, you just add $ before the name of the sprite.

It's pretty easy to see how the sprites are separated.
How about 2003?
There's something out there that can convert 2k/2k3 to XP. I used it before, but I forgot where I found it, and I don't have it anymore.
