No, not crediting someone is an act of plagiarism. There's only a few resources that everyone already knows where they came from already, and even then you should credit them anyway.
Well, if I ever find said person I will credit them, but for now I'll just use the generic ??? made it for now.

Just give credit where credit is due. It's not hard at all and honestly, it sounds stupid and childish to not give credit where it's due.

This is very sad. None of you are paying attention, otherwise you both would know I AM NOT USING THAT SPRITE in the game and am using a completely different one I don't know the author of (As seen on the what u workin on forum.) Like I said, I suppose I'll have to use ???? for the time being.

Yeah, so you basically just said you don't know who the author is either. So I'll let the solution be Credit to ???? till I figure out who made it.
You made it from the character creator right? Then credit that. The positioning of the scarf is a dead giveaway.
And if you don't know who you got something off, a general disclaimer - "All sprites and graphics are the respective property of those who made them." - would be okay, but be sure to give credit to the ones whose names you do know - like Mack, who made those town graphics.
