But seriously, so long as it doesn't look/sound terribly made and/or super-generic you'll get in. I've often said I'd love to see what gets rejected 'cause the BCB isn't THAT strict (even if it is seemingly a little inconsistent at times).
Case in point: When I submitted my first project I had a recolured alex sprite as my main char in my submission screenshots and a bunch of blurb that basically amounted to me saying "I'm trying to make a game that feels like ___, but i don't know the details yet, I'm still working on the details and graphics and mechanics and a lot will change" - In other words I was honest.
