I have been getting lot's of ad's lately. I discovered after a long process of elimination that SMBX was behind it. Is there a version of it somewhere that is ad ware free?

I think it is adware free. I have it on 3 computers and I've never noticed ads. But hey its free.
I suppose I can live with it.
I still really don't think its adware. Let me open my version. Maybe something changed.
Nope. No ads still. I've noticed the Bing toolbar seems to have ads and reinstall itself... no matter how many times I uninstall it.

I havn't gotten a bing toolbar. What browser do you use? I'm using Mozilla.

This sounds a bit strange, what makes you sure its SMBX?
My virus detector software told me.
I'd suggest using something like Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to remove adware. Most anti-virus software aren't intended to tackle adware or spyware; they go after the actual viruses that subsequently carry in the adware and spyware.

Thanks KingArthur.
LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I'm guessing your security program is giving you a false positive. I know of at least two different adware removal programs that mark all RPG Maker 2003 games as trojans. These security programs are extremely overzealous like that. I think the programmers think that the more problems it finds, the more you'll like the security program, so they just make it quarantine anything and everything on your computer.
