CloseI was trying to play the game Alter A.I.L.A Genesis, and when I start it, my screen goes black, and my mouse becomes the hour glass thing, and becomes bigger. How do I fix it?

Maybe press alt+enter ? Could be in full-screen mode...
It becomes bigger because in order to run - it needs to set your screen resolution to 320x240 (it's not getting bigger, your screen resolution is getting smaller) because that's the resolution that RK2K/3 runs in.
I'd guess it was just loading up.. All rm2k/3 games that I play take a few seconds of black screen & hourglass before they run.
How long is it staying like that?
Also, I'm pretty sure that F4 puts the game into windowed mode instead of full screen.. But that command might not do anything until the game loads up.

Hmmm. Sorry, in that case I don't know why it's not getting past the loading at the start.
Try starting it in windowed mode. Either open it in RPG Maker in order to do that, or start it using a shortcut with the arguments "TestPlay ShowTitle Window".
