It's the same reason I didn't explain what the passenger area of the spaceship looked like or who was riding.
AA, you were stuck with the same choice I made; having a lack of information and giving a blonde, black hair. It was perfect.
But, that's alright. Once we burn through a couple more Let's Draws (not comics this time), we'll be all set to draw a comic and know what we're getting into.
Issue 1 was merely an exercise for something much bigger.

Gee, no wonder I found the information lacking, you tricky Dudesoft, you... And boy! the mistakes I made! x_X Specially on my first page. I thought the policeman was the protagonist, and that the Pilot and Copilot were found dead in the cockpit before the ship even left the hangar...
I too made some mistakes regarding the flow of information, and like Dudesoft told me, my pages are too "left, right, star over" >_<; I also want to hide in shame at my lack of creativity in the settings, I made them rather boring, where others like Ketsumio did an awesome job at it.
But all in all I'm really enjoying this. Keep the lessons coming! :P

That's no worries ae! I'm pretty new at this stuff myself and teaching what I learned is helping me understand it at the same time. I know the stuff, but atm it's easier said than done if that makes sense.
Thankfully, I understand settings now, so we will cover that one too.
After all the lessons and exercises we'll be ready for Comic 2. After that, I want to open the floor to script writing. Until we nail Comic 2, I'll keep us on track with another script.

I didn't think that the my guy was going to be like the next page's, either... I even thought of totally obscuring his face for continuity's sake >.>
I didn't think about hair color, though... It just looked better against the black background and clothing.
