Yeah, Max Shreck was the man. However, since every other interpretation of vampires is vastly more popular than friedrich murnaus, I'm pretty sure your best bet is to make the game yourself.
Hmm... if I wasn't so obsessed with making blade-runner rip-offs, this would be quite tempting. To the drawing board!
One of the first 2k3 games I made was about vampires--pretty straight expys of some of the White Wolf clans, but set in a medieval fantasy world more reminiscent of Nosgoth from Legacy of Kain (best vampire video game ever btw). It was called "Eternal Hunger" or "Immortal Hunger" or something. It was not released publically, or for that matter, very good. I was quite young then (Iron Gaia 1 may still have been incomplete).

My old game, Diary of a Madman doesn't contain vampires (well it does, but not really as characters); but it does have that dark feel of vampiric type of game. I've been trying to get a hold of a slightly newer version than the one surfing around the net right now (which is kind of buggy) but I haven't found anyone that had it. I'm sure if you searched the web for Diary of a Madman rpgmaker or something like that you could find it and give it a shot.
