IKA WEBSITE

Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this, or if it's already been answered somewhere else that I couldn't find (but I did search the forums before posting this), but the most recent topic I could find about ika was more than a year old, so...

What's up with the ika website? All the pages there (http://ika.sf.net) just give a "Fatal Error". I did manage to find a way to download ika (through http://sourceforge.net/projects/ika/), but with no access to the tutorials and articles that apparently were on the website, it's going to be a bit of a hassle trying to figure things out and get started. I'd hoped it was just a very short-term snag, but the website seems to have been that way for more than a week now...

Has development stopped on ika? Or is there just a (hopefully temporary) glitch with the website? If the latter, any ETA on when it might be fixed?

I've stopped working on ika. I think everyone else has as well. SF.net made some more server infrastructure upgrades that broke the site once again.
I'm sorry to hear that... it sounded interesting.

I don't suppose there's any chance anyone might have a copy of the tutorials and such that are no longer accessible on the sf site that they'd be willing to upload somewhere, for those who'd still like to give ika a try even if it's no longer being worked on?
Wow I find it a deep shame that ika isn't being worked on. I've played some great games made with that software like Winter and Quest for Color.

:(

@Sca: I still have an older copy of ika, if no one else has a proper download link I can supply you with one.
Was wondering what happened to the site myself.. now I know! Shows what happens when I don't go there for a while, heh! Sucks that it's pretty much dead as it's still the most flexible engine that I know of... not to mention my game is already half made in it. :P

Sca: I wrote a couple of the articles myself, I can try poking around to see if I can find anything for you, if you're still interested in using the engine. You can also take a look at my games, Mannux and Final Eclipse, to see if you can get some useful info out of those. I may not really be too active these days but I'd be willing to help and answer questions if you like.
