Wild Arms XF for the PSP...
It focused way too much on minigame
battles, than actual character improvement
and fighting.
Yeah I thought this game would come into its own but I eventually got really tired of the overdesigned battle scenarios. I like puzzles now and then, but WA XF focused *entirely* on puzzles and not on tactical combat. Because it uses a tactical RPG system as its mode of interaction, it ends up being a tedious puzzle game with a variety of tacked-on and unused tactical RPG systems.

Yeah, I've noticed that *except* for games that AREN'T available in the US (Dragon Quest V & VI come to mind- but not for long), I generally get or at least try to get more value out of them when I buy them.

Am I the only one who's moronically easy to please with videogames? Like I've said a lot of times before, I usually have a ball and paddle mentality with video games, and it's incredibly easy for me to have a good time with just about anything. I can't really think of any games I'd call 'worst'. But that's just me.

I don't know if you played it on hard mode or easy mode but I'm of the opinion that Blue Dragon is an incredibly game with tons of nuance and overall excellent design. Even though I hate it and will never play it again and I shiver just thinking about it.

Pattycake? Boring? I found it excruciatingly difficult, a mind and physical game where your hand-eye coordination are put to the ultimate test, where you are to watch your opponent's every move while at the same time responding correctly. It seems simple enough until the speed starts to pick up and your reflexes have to be catlike to keep you from losing. I find this to be the hardest game I've ever played.

Don't go tarnishing Wal-Mart's image by lumping it in with some scally-wag like World of WarCraft.
Worst game I played this year has been... Crisis Core. Not a bad game, really. But the battle system is terrible, the game design elements are horribly implemented, Zach is so annoyingly surfer boy and Genesis is an even worse emo than Sephiroth.

I played it on hard mode, up to near the end of the 2nd disc. It's the game that goes on and on and on...

Okay you have no idea man so my playthrough went sort of like this:
1. Played 25 hours in (start of 2nd disc).
2. Learned about Hard Mode then only available through China.
3. Made a fake gamertag with an address linked to a Pizza Hut in Hong Kong (you need a real address) and downloaded the hard mode.
4. Started game over in hard mode.
5. 30 hours in: got stuck in a dungeon I could not leave. It had a time limit, so I couldn't powerlevel. There weren't enough enemies over. My only choice was to go to my last save in the alternate slot which incidentally was at 15 hours.
6. Got back to that other spot over the course of a very boring weekend. Powerlevelled. Got through that stupid dungeon.
7. Got stuck in another dungeon 40 hours in where I had to go to my last alternate save five hours earlier.
8. 50 hours in: a strange bug causes me to lose the most valuable accessory in the game (one that doubles experience you get). Reloaded my last alternate save which was the one before the dungeon I got stuck in 40 years in that had its last save 5 hours earlier.
9. Finished the game without any hitches but at that point I was beaten and demoralized and wanted to die and never play video games again.
So yeah I think I played that game for more than 200 hours and it is the reason I now hate video games.
Anyway it's still one of my favorite games ever made.

WoW isn't all that bad, though I can understand peoples' hate for it. Only thing I do on WoW is go to Ironforge on my Horde rogue and gank random 70s with my aussie friends (don't ask how I got into an aussie guild). Course that's really the only thing I ever do, raiding/arena sucks. World PvP ftw (even though blizzard has it shackled)

i used to play world of warcraft but i got bored of it fairly easy. That goes for runescape as well. Now, i just wouldn't find the time to even bother with these things.
