Sometimes, whenever I play my games, the BGM's instead of being normal, it plays in a Piano variation, it is weird, do you know what is causing it?
Thanks,

Well... I use Music Sculptor to edit my midis, and sometimes when I save them, this happens to them... all instrument information is lost, and it plays in a piano variation. It's not a problem with RM, but the midi file itself is corrupted. The only way I fix it is by manually fixing the instruments again.
Don't know if that helps.

Ok, well I don't mind, it only does this in Test Play. Never in the real game.(Without test play I mean)(Rpg2003)
I've had this issue a couple times, all in RM2K with a couple specific MIDIs. I was never much into MIDI stuff, so I'm not sure whatever the problem was, but I'm pretty sure it was instrument data being weird. It usually copied the instruments from the MIDI playing before it, but if there wasn't one, it would just use the piano. Grand Piano is the first MIDI instrument, so it's probably just a bad file, or else RM being weird about the specific file. Does it happen only with a certain song?
That's a bug in RM2k's default audio system. Use a different audio system (Disharmony or Audieremony).

Cherry, never mind, major fail. It is making the Piano music happen almost ALL of the time now. I am going to uninstall Disharmony and do the other one...

Basically, you are right. But the reason is also obvious: There are many people having problem with music!

Even though every post you have involves an advertisement for one of your patches :3
That's true, too. And again, the reason shouldn't be too difficult to figure out: It's not because I want everyone to use my stuff (you see: more users => more support needed => less time for me - and I get no money for that, remember!), but most question can be answered by other members (so I don't need to post there) EXCEPT those special ones where I am the only one (or one of very few) who knows the answer - or even better, who can make things possible when they are requested. So, I am only posting if I think that nobody else would bring a solution around (in a reasonable amount of time) if I wouldn't post :)
If I am getting on anybody's nerves with my posts, I am sorry for that. I certainly know that the world was also turning round before I was here, but if I see some problem and I know there is a solution around, I just can't ignore it^^
EDIT: Why are you quadrupleposting? XD
It's OK, Cherry, you are amazingly amazingly amazing! Thanks so much for all of your patches, without you, we would all be stuck with the bugs of the default RPG2003. Anyways, I have XP now, but...
