Omfg what happens with this comunity? The fucking made a mistake Banning Magi in first place, he did got banned for a single joke, after 4 years as a excelent staff member. And now they start to ban the people with is defending him?? Cmon, stop being arbitrary, learn from your errors.

Oh wait Strangeluv got banned... Dammit. I have to look into the reason such a decision was "justified". :/

I'm sure the staff will consider everything and make a fair decision. Personally, I think Strangeluv has made some great game and review contributions, and that should be recognized and factored into their decision. We also must consider that this has been a fairly eventful and emotional night. We should all look at this tomorrow with fresh eyes and figure out what mistakes need to be corrected.

Magi has also contributed a nice featured game as well as four years of service, in which time the site has had exceptional quality control relative to other RPG Maker centers. Like I said, this is up to the staff, and I am confident that they will make a fair and justified decision after letting the incident cool down.

he wasnt doing anything ilegal, is a topic that was on the Welp Welp forums. I am on the same situation.

After talking about it to rcholbert, most of strangeluv's more inflammatory posts were actually deleted. So to those perusing the post history, it will probably be unclear exactly how douchey he was being about it. Just in case you're like me, and were worried he was banned just for arguing against Magi's ban.

I still don't really approve of banning people for basically anything short of child porn, but it does make me feel somewhat better to know there's more to the story.

since the posts were deleted there is no way for the public to know what actually transpired. that is the primary benefit of employing censorship; the despot can fabricate the truth to his convenience.

i mean, really, what you are saying is 'i am automatically soothed because the person who deleted dissenting posts assured me that the censored individual was at fault'. probably not very wise as a general principle.

Anyway, Strange sounds JUST like my friend from Trinidad. It was weird watching, but a lot of fun. My hat goes off to him for trying Onyx 2. The game is soooooo old and inferior to my later stuff, with regards to the technical-aspect of game making. I was watching it going like, "Oh, noooooooooooooooooooooo! Why did I do that? >.<"


I'm glad he didn't hate it, though (yet). The game was heavily MegaTen inspired, which isn't everyone's cup of tea.

I hope he returns.
