I MET TELLAHASA THE OTHER WEEK

If anyone remembers the guy (he goes by Asalieri on YouTube), I spent two weeks with him and his wife (Suzuricho I think she went by back in her RMN days) for my birthday the other week. He has some videos about it here called A Brit Abroad.

Part 1: American Food
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1pY1k9-OSI&feature=channel_video_title
(Apparently some of this stuff was banned due to the colourings, not the sugar content, and some people have also sent me the addresses of import stores in the UK that stock some of these foods - the more you know!)

Part 2: The Last Great Arcade
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-QcZ84_gW0&feature=channel_video_title

Part 3: Karaoke Hell
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jC1ZsqIl9W0&feature=channel_video_title

Part 4: Take Me Out to the Ball Game
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=odFQSgQHv78&feature=channel_video_title

Part 5: Waterpark and Goodbye
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zEob0EBLVFQ&feature=channel_video_title
(Again since this went up I've been told we do have a waterpark, it's just the other side of the country and mostly indoors)

I had a blast, I did lose my voice for a whole day though and it was never quite 100% so I sound weird in most of the footage. Why post it now? Because WIP met a fellow RMNer, I saw his topic and though "I see your meeting with photo evidence and I raise you video evidence!"

Wait you mean THIS guy? http://rpgmaker.net/users/Asalieri/

Holy shit it never crossed my mind that he and the guy who does reviewing a reviewer are the same person. Small worldinternet I guess.
Yeah, if you go back and listen to the old Code Monkeys podcasts with me, him and Nick you'll recognise the voice in a heartbeat
Whoa, Sam, in first video you seem surprised by just about every food item you're seeing. I didn't realize the UK food market was that different than ours.

Also, why the hell are Lucky Charms and Cheetos banned in the UK?!
Lucky Charms, I'm pretty sure due to the colouring and sugar levels, are banned by the FSA (Food Standards Agency), Cheetos... I don't know, they just seem to have vanished!
Wait, is this the guy who said TFT pm'd his wife dicks

Having a signature is too mainstream. I'm not part of your system!

Was this a recent ban or something because I'm sure I've seen them at a Selfridges in Manchester.
lucky charms aren't banned (and yes, they're sold in selfridges)

4 - From it's Wikipedia article here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucky_Charms
"Lucky Charms used to be sold in the UK and Ireland during the mid 90s. Today, People from the British Isles can still get the cereal, either from Ebay, Amazon, or Selfridges." USED TO BE SOLD

Sorry to hammer this point home, but damn!
used to be sold =/= banned etc.
