THE FEATURED GAME THREAD
Posts
I agree with you! the only blatant jealousy is when people say useless, melodramatic things like 'brb, weeping in a corner'. criticism with something behind has always been hugely easy to tell apart from that sort of thing, if people aren't looking to confuse things on purpose. and in the cases where a criticism is valid, the speaker's reasons for raising it shouldn't be called into question anyway. that just makes a mess of things.
I also personally agree that popularity alone shouldn't be a bullet point for choosing a featured game -- I mean, if nothing else, the whole point of the feature is to give extra exposure to things. if something's already had tremendous exposure, featuring it to show that off is a little backwards, yeah?
I only want to prevent the disappointment and the backlash from reaching that confusing, self-defeating point where it gives people an excuse to put all short, playful games in a poor light. I think I've explored this community enough to know that's a possibility.
also, second definition's the one I was goin for. metaphors, dig?

Homework Salesman Chapter 1 is complete.

Corfaisus nailed it.
Same thing happened with Master of the Wind. Once it was finally completed I made a blurb about it on the frontpage (and made it a gamespot, iirc). I'll do the same with HS when it is COMPLETE complete. :>

It's an Episodical Game like Mass Effect/Dragon Age etc. It works as stand alone and over 100 hrs of gameplay, I think that's as complete as it can be :D
Wow, Homework Salesman… After all the discussions about Pom and everything else, I really had no idea what to expect, but wow…
Good choice, though. Can’t go wrong with the Misao Stealing Salesman. :P

Well, here's the list that was taken from before with updated picks:
I would add Valthirian Arc II to the list but I haven't played it as of yet, so I can't officially vouch for it, nor have I played or seen anything else rather noteworthy this month, so I guess I'll have to pick something that's already on the list.
Hmmm…I’m kind of going in circles between picking Vorlorn or Enelysion for my number one. Vorlorn WOULD be my number one choice, but it already got a gamespot mention a little while ago, so Enelysion it is for me. ^^
So I vote for Enelysion, a perfect choice to ring in the new year and give yuna21 a little bit more exposure towards her next game, “Lady Of The Lion.”
Pom Gets Wifi
Vorlorn
Enelysion
Very Pink Game
Generica: The Next Generation
Super RMN World
Super Talking Time Bros 1+2
Heartache 101 - Sour Into Sweet
Rust And Blood
Suzy And Freedom
Labyrinthine Dreams
God of Crawling Eyes

Enelysion was also a gamespot recently. WHERE'S YOUR GOD NOW?

Ha! Ask and you shall receive.
I don’t really know what a “Touhou” is, but it definitely is a good pick for this month’s feature. ^^
Well you could always check wikipedia on Touhou but on short it's usually a danmaku bullet hell game with mostly girls casts by ZUN,they also have fighting games and many different fan games and i am mostly in for the fighting games which are so addictive.
Oh and thanks for featuring it.
