Ok, so i am using vx, and what I need to figure out is what is the size in pixels of a map that in vx is 500 by 500 tiles.
Can you help me?
Thanks,

Math check: A standard RTP character sheet (4 characters by 2 characters) takes up 384 pixels by 256. One character would take up 96 by 96. Since a VX RTP character takes up exactly one tile, it can be presumed that a tile is 24 by 24 pixels.

A map that's 500 tiles long/tall would be 500 * 24 = 12,000 pixels long/tall.

Calcumancer JP up?

Aww fail, I screwed it all up. I did 34 instead of what you said. I asked a friend from RPGRPG and it screwed it all up :( I guess I will do 24 this time!
No not Calcumancer Jp up.
A single tile in VX is 32x32 pixels. If you look at the contents in the help file, there's a section called resource specification that gives you the sizes for all your resources. Just do map size width (and then the same for the height) * 32 = the amount of pixels that map uses~!

Wait, my post doesn't make sense. A standard VX RTP character sheet does, in fact, take up 356 by 256, but that means one character's section would take up (356 / 4 = 96; 256 / 2 = 128) 96 by 128 pixels. Which means a singular tile should be (96 / 3 = 32; 128 / 4 = 32) 32 by 32, as Pentagon Buddy suggests.

Where the heck did I get...? Never mind.
