Linguistics Student, working as a assistant chef right now.
Hi-Five for Linguistics! Ano, I most recently did work as a tutor for foreigners wanting to learn English, and before that I worked for UPS. Now though, I'm unemployed and trying to find a new school to transfer to.
I'm working at McDonald's currently (oh the joys of working your first job...). It's not great, but it works out quite well for this summer since it's only a short walk away. I know I probably could have done better, but I got the interview fast I was working before I knew it.
Hopefully, when school starts, I'll have a job at Vintage Stock. I have a few leads, so hopefully I'll get hired :)
That kind of job would suit me much better.

at first i thought you meant you were in the US Coast Guard but ReBoot that's cool too
I'm a legal drug dealer (i.e. Pharmacist). The job has its ups and downs. I enjoy it mainly, however you do get sick of people trying to manipulate the healthcare system - no, I am not going to give you your narcotics or benzos a week early from their due date. It really depends on where you work however. I just worked my first year in New Brunswick, and that place is just druggie central. Everyone is on unemployment and practically using their government cheques for illicit drugs or narcotics. It's pretty sad. Now that I've moved back to Halifax I've decided to take the summer off and find some sort of pharmacy employment in the fall. The degree of druggies as I like to call them is much lower here - at least where I'm living.
hey I've got a first cousin in Halifax
you could all be neighbours

Last time I checked UPRC was in Dartmouth, so there's quite a few of us in Nova Scotia apparently! (Was anyone else at the Best Buy Grand Opening in Chain Lake today? Would be funny if we ended up in the same place at the same time and didn't know it).
Right now, I work as a summer help road maintenance worker, mostly fixing potholes. It sucks, especially considering I have to wake up at 4:30 am, and get back around 4:45 pm. I'm going to college to become a radiography technician.

By the way, whoever said you lose interest in playing games once you start working on them... totally on the mark!
For me, it has increased my interest, if anything.

The difference is he is doing it professionally. It is his job, job. Literally.

By the way, whoever said you lose interest in playing games once you start working on them... totally on the mark! Though I still do play games, so it's not like it's a total killjoy or anything. Unless you worked in QA, in which case say goodbye to any enthusiasm you had for the next gen of consoles or anything like that.
Man this is so true I can't disagree.
My "job" is making graphics for flash games depending on who's interested (mostly Lucidrine)and as a babysitter. I also do surveys and...erm...write stories sort of (can't really tell much!). But other wise I'm just a college student :c

So all the artwork in your games is yours? :O
College student majoring in World Language, specializing in French and supplementing Chinese and German. I'm also in the air force reserves as a civil engineer, although it's really not something I'd want to do as my real career. But I do like sounding smart by talking about cool engineer stuff like GIS, SDSFIE and AutoCAD (don't ask me what SDSFIE stands for because I don't know :P)
